Kennedy said government should be hands-off abortion no matter what.

NBC explained, “The comments appeared to come as a surprise to Nicole Shanahan, Kennedy’s running mate. A week prior to the release of Kennedy’s conversation with Steele, Shanahan was featured in a podcast episode with the host. Steele asked Shanahan if she agreed with Kennedy’s belief that a woman should have the option to have an abortion at full term, to which Shanahan responded with surprise.”

She said, “My understanding with Bobby’s position is that, you know, every abortion is a tragedy, is a loss of life. My understanding is that he absolutely believes in limits on abortion, and we’ve talked about this. I do not think, I don’t know where that came from.”

Shanahan suggested there has been a “miscommunication.”

Presidential Immunity Hearing on Thursday at the Supreme Court of the United States

This is a wonderful article that explains the “Presidential Immunity” argument that President Trump and his lawyers will present to the Supreme Court on Thursday, April 25th!

The following is a long excerpt, but it does explain, very well I might add, why President Trump is entitled to the immunity claim he is making!

“From the Brief of Marxist Jack Smith comes a contrived argument almost as bad as the corrupt effort to impose Section 1512(C)(2) on Mr. Fischer, and thereby many January 6ers, last week.  While we fully expect 1512 will fall and eliminate those obstruction charges against President Trump and against many January 6^th protesters, the upcoming Presidential Immunity case is critical to end the broader persecution of President Trump, shut down the corrupt efforts of the DOJ and allow the 2024 election to proceed more peacefully, minus any contrived black swans of course.

This case is scheduled to be heard on Thursday, April 25^th.  The question presented to the Supreme Court of the United States is:

WHETHER AND IF SO TO WHAT EXTENT DOES A FORMER PRESIDENT ENJOY PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY FROM CRIMINAL PROSECUTION FOR CONDUCT ALLEGED TO INVOLVE OFFICIAL ACTS DURING HIS TENURE IN OFFICE.

To begin with we should consider the central weakness to Jack Smith case – where he deems Nixon’s resignation before House impeachment and Senate conviction followed by his pardon as the closest historical parallel to what President Trump faces:

The closest historical analogue is President Nixon’s official conduct in Watergate, and his acceptance of a pardon implied his and President Ford’s recognition that a former President was subject to prosecution.  Since Watergate, the Department of Justice has held the view that a former President may face criminal prosecution, and Independent and Special Counsels have operated from that same understanding.  Until petitioner’s arguments in this case, so had former Presidents.

Jack Smith falsely contrives the Nixon parallel above as Nixon stepped down when he learned that the House was prepared to impeach him – and this is a glaring constitutional distinction Jack failed to state.  Nixon, upon expected impeachment and anticipated conviction in the Senate, would have become subject to criminal liability if convicted.  He determined to resign and avoid that process.

President Trump; however, did not resign and allowed the impeachment process to go forth, which, upon impeachment, initiated the trial in the Senate, where President Trump was exonerated.  The difference is simply massive – the two cases cannot be compared, and yet to the showman Jack Smith this is the closest parallel.

In short Smith compares a defendant that takes a deal before trial to another defendant that sits through trial and is vindicated.  As reflected in the President’s Reply Brief, Alito pointed out, “[t]he plain implication” of the Impeachment Judgment Clause, as elucidated by Hamilton, “is that criminal prosecution, like removal from the Presidency and disqualification from other offices, is a consequence that can come about only after the Senate’s judgment….” Trump v. Vance, 140 S. Ct. 2412, 2444 (emphasis added).

This means that the Senate exonerated the President, and therefore he is immune from prosecution regarding official acts (at least). “

“Congress is once again ramping up to introduce an act that would effectively ban or restrict “TikTok and foreign-adversary social media companies.” It has received bipartisan support and has been quickly pushed through Congress. While outwardly some might see this act as positive, it claims to protect the citizens of the United States from CCP surveillance. Yet, when you read the fine print of this bill, it doesn’t protect you; it is handing over greater power to the government and is a direct violation of our First Amendment. Congress CANNOT pass this bill, regardless of any positives in it. It grants our government tyrannical control over ALL media. Do NOT pass H.R. 7521.

Over the past week, there has been a great deal of talk surrounding the banning of TikTok and other foreign-adversary social media companies in Congress through the H.R. 7521 Act. The issue with this act is that it would NOT protect the citizens of the United States in the way that it claims, but instead force us to relinquish our rights to the government. It is nothing but a Trojan horse.

So what exactly will this bill do? Firstly, it would restrict/ban what the government determines as a foreign adversary-controlled application. What is this determination? Who knows, but it will ban any website, desktop application, mobile application, or augmented or immersive technology application that is operated, directly or indirectly, by ByteDance, TikTok, or “foreign-adversary social media companies.” Pay attention to that language.

Here’s where it gets bad. This act won’t JUST apply to ByteDance, TikTok, or any other foreign-adversary social media companies because of its extremely vague language and the fact that the PRESIDENT is the one granted the power to determine who and what constitutes as a “foreign adversary.”

Remember the Patriot Act? Remember FISA? These acts, in the name of protecting the citizens of the United States, possessed such vague language that our Government was enabled to violate its people’s rights. Anytime the government proposes a bill to “protect you,” you’re about to give up freedoms that you’ll never get back. They’ve run this playbook time and time again.

When a bill receives full bipartisan support, especially when it’s advocated for by Biden, we should be questioning the actual motives found in the fine print, and those motives are the government banning and restricting any voice they deem as a foreign adversary. You question the way Biden is dealing with the border, you question policy changes, you advocate for freedom, you must be a foreign adversary, and in order to protect national security, you will be completely silenced.

Congress must NOT pass H.R. 7521, like founding father Benjamin Franklin once said: “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” We the people categorically REJECT H.R. 7521. If Congress wants to protect its citizens, they will give bipartisan support to H.R.2 Secure the Border, they would stop attacking our 2nd amendment, they would protect our Constitution! Congress, you will NOT pass this vague bill meant to steal our voice; do not pass H.R. 7521!

The Alarming Prosecutions Against Donald J. Trump

One of my great friends texted me with concerns about all of these lawsuits filed against President Donald J. Trump. Will this result in bankruptcy for him or jail time?

I’m not a lawyer, so I’ll admit that I can’t be sure about my answer to that question. However, I found the following discussion on Truth Social can give us hope about the final outcome in these (what I consider bogus) cases against him.

The problem lies in the framing. As I understand it (and I could well be wrong) the court is under the impression that Trump is demanding absolute immunity. Not sure if this is a faulty presentation by Trumps team, or misinterpretation by SCOTUS… but I’ve heard reports that the court abhors the thought of rubber stamping “above the law”. Trumps team may be asking the court to leave it to congressional impeachment for actual crime committed as president. I’m not sure of the nuts and bolts of the case as argued. It may well be that Trump ISNT asking for absolute immunity, it’s ass-hat justices painting it that way. But IMHO that is what this case hinges on. Actions vs policy decisions.

Why are they waking up? Because they are seeing the deep state playbook being forced upon all Americans, to the detriment of our Nation! We can use and share this very highly important video message with others today!

I have seen and heard President Trump saying that as President in 2024, he will deport many of them. Perhaps there will be a proper method to citizenship in the future. Meanwhile, the genius of this man and plan, is to WAKE up the people so that they will now SEE how the election cheating methods are done! Then, it will hopefully be prevented for future elections! The cheating tools will all be exposed and will result in preventing them from happening in all future elections.

ALL of the American people must see this, in order to WAKE UP from their complacency and/or lack of knowledge that such methods have been used to cheat in elections for decades! I’m not sure when it all started, but recall the “hanging chads” in Florida during the Bush v. Gore election in 2000? The Supreme Court made the decision. I recall being “relieved” back then when Bush “won” over Gore. But now that I have been awakened regarding all of the horrible criminality involved with the Scherff (real name) “Bush” family, I’m sad and appalled! I regret all of my past presidential votes, except for President Ronald Reagan and President Donald J. Trump!

In a pair of articles on his Racket News website, “Twitter Files” reporter Matt Taibbi uncovers corrupt, systematic, and longstanding efforts by leading Democrats to stop the election of Donald J. Trump in 2024 or, at a minimum, cripple his presidency before it can get off the ground.

Taibbi, who, it should be noted, was once a darling of the progressive left while working as a columnist for the New York Press and Rolling Stone, has in recent years become one of the left’s top critics as an independent investigative journalist. He and fellow disaffected liberal Michael Shellenberger have broken major stories about the federal government’s involvement in online censorship on issues like pandemic lockdown policies and the 2020 election as part of their “Twitter Files” coverage, and Taibbi has become a leading detractor of the corporate media and the political establishment in both parties.

In his most recent work, a 4,200 word article that should have every American citizen concerned about the future of free and fair elections in the United States, Taibbi writes, “The 2024 presidential race increasingly looks like it will be decided by lawyers, not voters, as Democrats unveil plans for America’s first lawfare election… To ‘protect democracy,’ democracy is already being canceled. We just haven’t admitted the implications of this to ourselves yet.”

As Taibbi outlines, the Democrat establishment is already engaged in a systematic effort to ensure that Biden remains in the White House beyond 2024. One part of this effort is the series of lawsuits in a number of states to remove Trump from the ballot. Another is ensuring that Biden has no serious primary threat – something which has, according to Taibbi’s sources, been accomplished through threatening would-be challengers.

Meanwhile, the corporate media has launched a propaganda campaign to convince the American people that Trump would be a “dictator” were he to win this fall. Mainstream pundits and journalists have in unison begun hammering the line that Trump is an “existential threat to democracy” and suggesting that Trump would use the military to go after his personal enemies.

Most chillingly, as Taibbi describes, we’ve seen this same sort of effort before. As he relays and as many major news outlets reported in the months leading up to the 2020 election, a group called the “Transition Integrity Project” (TIP) – comprised of top power players in Democrat circles like current Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm and Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta, as well as nominal “conservatives” who had become anti-Trump fanatics – had gathered to “wargame” contested election scenarios.

TIP participants were ostensibly concerned about Trump refusing to leave office if Biden won. But as Taibbi writes, the final TIP report on the election, published on August 3, 2020, “read like a year by year synopsis” of every Democrat effort to overturn Trump’s 2016 election victory, undermine his presidency, and now prevent his return to the White House.

For instance, TIP participants feared that Trump would “launch investigations into opponents” – which is exactly what Biden and Democrats are doing now to Trump. The TIP report also alleged that Trump would “use Department of Justice and/or the intelligence agencies to cast doubt on election results or discredit his opponents” – exactly what the Clinton campaign and the Democrat establishment attempted to do in 2016 with the infamous Steele Dossier and Russia Collusion Hoax.

One TIP simulation even predicted “that Trump would contrive to label Biden supporters guilty of ‘insurrection’ for protesting a ‘clear Trump win.’” Now, of course, we’ve seen a direct reversal of that prediction as Biden and Democrats have labeled Trump and every one of his supporters “insurrectionists” and made “protecting democracy” the main theme of their 2024 campaign.

TIP participants allege that all their 2020 scheming was just an effort to be prepared for anything, rather than an explicit plot to prevent a second Trump term even in the event of a clear Trump victory. (It’s worth noting here that none of the TIP “wargames” or scenarios were ever intended to be made public – it was only after a series of embarrassing leaks that the group decided to release their full report in an attempt to save face that largely backfired.)

But as Taibbi argues, even if one accepts these supposedly well-intentioned motivations, the fact that these high-profile power players on the left even felt the need to form a group like TIP provides an alarming look into the psyche of the modern Democrat Party. It is an indication of the fact that the left feels completely justified usurping the democratic will of the American people in order to “save democracy.”

“The grim reality of Campaign 2024,” Taibbi writes, “is that both sides appear convinced the other will violate “norms” first, with Democrats in particular seeming to believe extreme advance action is needed to head off a Trump dictatorship.”

Taibbi’s lengthy conclusion is worth quoting in its entirety:

“Many who couldn’t stand Trump, would never vote for him, and have been willing consumers of the awesome amount of propaganda published on the Trump subject, now need to face the fact that they’ve been had. Transformed into the avatar of all bad things — a crude domestic combo platter of Saddam, Milosevic, Assad, and Putin — this vision of the über-villain, Trump, has been used to distract mass audiences from the erosion of “norms” at home. “Protecting democracy” in the Trump context will be remembered as having served the same purpose as Saddam’s mythical WMDs, the shots fired in the Gulf of Tonkin, or Gaddafi’s fictional Viagra-enhanced army. Those were carefully crafted political lies, used to rally the public behind illegal campaigns of preemption. Voters, by voting, “protect democracy.” A politician who claims to be doing the job for us is up to something. The group in the current White House is trying to steal for themselves a word that belongs to you. Don’t let them.”

In a second article published shortly after the TIP exposé, Taibbi makes the case that Democrats’ efforts to boot Trump off the ballot are merely the culmination of a decades-long willingness by Democrat elites to subvert democracy in order to consolidate their own political power.

As he relays, Democrats employed lawfare back in 2004 to sink insurgent third-party candidate Ralph Nader, devoting millions in spurious lawsuits to keep him off the ballot in competitive states – denying voters the basic right to choose their own leaders in the process.

“Twenty years and multiple political upheavals later, the Democrats are taking the sabotage game it played in 2004 up a notch or ten,” Taibbi writes, pointing to how the Democrat establishment has declared the New Hampshire Democratic primary “non-compliant” and outright canceled the Florida Democratic primary in an effort to thwart potential Biden primary challengers and deny voters the chance to choose someone else as the Democrat nominee.

This, Taibbi argues, is again indicative of how Democrats – as well as the pre-Trump GOP establishment – view democracy: not as an indispensable part of our governing system, but rather a pesky obstacle to be overcome. The Washington political class “reordered the geography of the world, blithely moved whole manufacturing sectors from one continent to another, started moronic wars that pointlessly killed millions and created millions more refugees, bailed out corrupt banks while whole regions went into foreclosure, and failed to accomplish much but a growing sense of foreboding and decline despite decades of promises to the contrary.”

Yet despite all this chaos, tragedy, and failure, “they feel sincere rage at the idea that they should have to earn votes.”

Trump’s victory in 2016 was a major blow to this corrupt system – which is exactly why Democrats are now working so hard to ensure Trump doesn’t have the opportunity for a repeat performance in 2024. But exposing the left’s schemes, as Taibbi attempts to do, is a first crucial step to stopping them.
