If you want to help the people of Texas, and others affected by hurricane Harvey,  you and any of your friends that are looking for a charity to give to can give to Mercuryone.org.

I have been contributing to them for a few years. They give 100% of the donations they receive to the charity of your choice that is on their website. They can do this because they have a gala once a year to raise money just for administration costs.

Mercury One is already set up in Texas, and is partnering with several groups helping with rescue, feeding, and shelter.  Some of the groups that you might hear about on TV are Operation Barbeque, Team Rubicon (Vets), City Impact (Faith Partners), Somebody Cares, Gleaning the World, and Provisions Project (Sheriffs).

It is easy to sign up and the great thing is that they will give you regular updates if you are interested in knowing what your money has done.  You can also choose to give to other worthy causes or their general fund at any time; and feel comfortable in the knowledge that you aren’t lining the pockets of someone that doesn’t need help.

Please tell a friend because we all want to help, but sometimes we just don’t know which relief organizations are trustworthy.

Faith Is Needed For What We Can’t See And Can’t Touch

People can choose to have faith in many things.  Most, of which, is faith in things that they can see and touch.   And, that’s OK!   I like to have faith that my family members love me and I like to do things and help with things going on in their lives that demonstrate to them that I love them as well!   We could all write many lists of people and things that we can choose to have faith in.

What about what it means to have faith in God and Jesus Christ?

The faith that is spoken of in Scripture is precisely defined and described by the prophets in the Old Testament, as well as the disciples, apostles, and writers of the New Testament.  Each were guided along by the Holy Spirit of God, because we are told that Scripture is God-breathed. This is why we can trust the Scriptures!

2Ti 3:16

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

2Ti 3:17
that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

So, now that we have established why we can trust the Scriptures, what does the Bible reveal to us regarding having faith in Him?

Heb 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Jesus spoke to doubting Thomas and proclaimed:

Jhn 20:29

Jesus said to him, “Thomas,[fn] because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

In the Old Testament, the Israelites were waiting for the coming Messiah. They did not live to see Him, however their hope for Him and belief that He would deliver them from their sin was enough at that time in history to save them.

Isa 30:18

Therefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the LORD is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

Jesus told us that ‘if we love Him, keep His commandments.” Belief in His sacrificial death on the cross saves us from the penalty for our sin. However, the sanctification process continues throughout a believer’s lifetime. That is why keeping His commandments shows our love for Jesus and what He did for us on the cross and the resurrection to life that is promised for all who believe in His Name.

Rev 22:14

Blessed are those who do His commandments,[fn] that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

All of Hebrews 11 is a description of faith and gives examples through history of those who held onto the faith.

I especially like David Guzik’s commentary on Hebrews 11. He shows examples of faith to help the discouraged.

Here is just a portion:

A. Faith defined.

1. (Hbr 11:1) A definition of faith.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

a. Now faith is the substance: Just as our physical eyesight is the sense that gives us evidence of the material world, faith is the “sense” that gives us evidence of the invisible, spiritual world.

i. Faith has its reasons. The Bible doesn’t recommend a “blind leap” of faith. But the reasons can’t be measured in a laboratory; they have to be understood spiritually. “Faith extends beyond what we learn from our senses, and the author is saying that it has its reasons. Its tests are not those of the senses, which yield uncertainty.” (Morris)

ii. “Physical eyesight produces a conviction or evidence of visible things; faith is the organ which enables people to see the invisible order.” (Bruce)

b. Of things hoped for… of things not seen: If you have the substance before you or if you can see it, there is no use for faith. Faith is needed for what we can’t see and can’t touch.

i. Faith does not contradict reason, though it may go beyond reason. One may objectively prove the Bible is the most unique book ever published and has impacted society more than any other book. But only faith can prove that the Bible is the Word of God. Therefore, this is a belief beyond reason but not in contradiction to reason or against reason.

c. Faith is the substance… the evidence: Faith is not a bare belief or intellectual understanding. It is a willingness to trust in, to rely on, and to cling to.

People can refuse to have faith in Jesus Christ. That is their free will choice. However, there is a caveat regarding faith! It is revealed very well in Mr. Guzik’s paragraph below (that faith is of things hoped for…of things not seen).

b. Of things hoped for… of things not seen: If you have the substance before you or if you can see it, there is no use for faith.

Faith is needed for what we can’t see and can’t touch.

In a previous post, my friend L shared the following comment:

We are repeating history right now. As it says in the Bible there is nothing new under the sun.

Both sides need to be denounced for the violence, evil, and ugliness that they are showing. We cannot excuse the Alt Right, Nazis, and as Conservatives we need to make it very clear that we in no way agree with them. In the same way Liberals, and those on the left need to denounce ANTIFA, and BLM. If you are an average American none of these groups should be at all representing you.

We cannot wipe out history, and make ourselves clean. We are destined to forget, and become that which we were if we try to do that. Should we put some things in a museum instead of the public square, absolutely?

The media on both sides is telling us to believe the worst about both Liberals, and Conservatives. The reality is that most of us are not in any way connected with any of the fringe elements in America, or if we are seeing clearly are rising up all over the world.

I would ask everyone to stand firm in the middle against all the divisive groups. Not with any, “Yeah, but what about….?” Just firmly against the Alt Right, Nazis, and likewise firmly against ANTIFA communists, and BLM.

We should not be silent, and we should not feed into any division. We need to show love, and peace to each other. Love is the antidote to this poison that is among us. The German people before WWII allowed the poison to fester, and never did find the antidote.

The Communists, and Nazis were clashing daily in Germany, but little to nothing was done. Most just thought it didn’t affect them, and eventually things would get back to normal. Let’s not end up like the German people who tried to ignore what was happening or chose sides. We need to be strong now, and not waver. We must be firmly against any hate, and division, and not cling to politics or a group mentality.

We are all God’s children. There is no difference. I will stand for Love not hate. What about you?

This was very well written by L!  Of course I (and, I’m sure, most readers here) WANT to stand for love and not hate!

What is the cure for hate?  I believe that there is only one cure- Jesus Christ!

However, Jesus did warn us in Matthew 10 that we would be sent out as sheep in the midst of wolves.

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Read all of Matthew 10!  The Bible is an honest book and forewarns us about what we will face as Christians in “the midst of wolves.”  Scripture tells us how to handles situations as they come up.  Sometimes, we must “depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet” because not everyone will receive our Gospel message with joy.  In fact, many will hate us for it!

These days, in order to be “wise as serpents” we must also be aware of what is REALLY going on in society today.  In this case, it is manufactured battle of the “white supremacist/neo-Nazi vs. Antifa” protests and riots!

What is this REALLY ALL ABOUT?

Excerpt from Alinsky Rules for Radicals:

The organizer, he said, “must first rub raw the resentments of the people; fan the latent hostilities to the point of overt expression. He must search out controversy and issues, rather than avoid them, for unless there is controversy people are not concerned enough to act.”[40] The organizer’s function, he added, was “to agitate to the point of conflict”[41] and “to maneuver and bait the establishment so that it will publicly attack him as a ‘dangerous enemy.’”[42] “The word ‘enemy,’” said Alinsky, “is sufficient to put the organizer on the side of the people”;[43] i.e., to convince members of the community that he is so eager to advocate on their behalf, that he has willingly opened himself up to condemnation and derision. But it is not enough for the organizer to be in solidarity with the people. He must also, said Alinsky, cultivate unity against a clearly identifiable enemy; he must specifically name this foe, and “singl[e] out”[44] precisely who is to blame for the “particular evil” that is the source of the people’s angst.[45] In other words, there must be a face associated with the people’s discontent. That face, Alinsky taught, “must be a personification, not something general and abstract like a corporation or City Hall.”[46] Rather, it should be an individual such as a CEO, a mayor, or a president.

Alinsky summarized it this way: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it…. [T]here is no point to tactics unless one has a target upon which to center the attacks.”[47]He held that the organizer’s task was to cultivate in people’s hearts a negative, visceral emotional response to the face of the enemy. “The organizer who forgets the significance of personal identification,” said Alinsky, “will attempt to answer all objections on the basis of logic and merit. With few exceptions this is a futile procedure.”[48]

Alinsky also advised organizers to focus their attention on a small number of selected, strategic targets. Spreading an organization’s passions too thinly was a recipe for certain failure, he warned.[49]

Alinsky advised the radical activist to avoid the temptation to concede that his opponent was not “100 per cent devil,” or that he possessed certain admirable qualities such as being “a good churchgoing man, generous to charity, and a good husband.” Such qualifying remarks, Alinsky said, “dilut[e] the impact of the attack” and amount to sheer “political idiocy.”[50]

Alinsky stressed the need for organizers to convince their followers that the chasm between the enemy and the members of the People’s Organization was vast and unbridgeable. “Before men can act,” he said, “an issue must be polarized. Men will act when they are convinced their cause is 100 percent on the side of the angels, and that the opposition are 100 percent on the side of the devil.”[51] Alinsky advised this course of action even though he well understood that the organizer “knows that when the time comes for negotiations it is really only a 10 percent difference.”[52] But in Alinsky’s brand of social warfare, the ends (in this case, the transfer of power) justify virtually whatever means are required (in this case, lying).[53]

Winning was all that mattered in Alinsky’s strategic calculus: “The morality of a means depends on whether the means is being employed at a time of imminent defeat or imminent victory.”[54] “The man of action … thinks only of his actual resources and the possibilities of various choices of action,” Alinsky added. “He asks only whether they are achievable and worth the cost; of means, only whether they will work.”[55] For Alinsky, all morality was relative: “The judgment of the ethics of means is dependent on the political position of those sitting in judgment.”[56]

Given that the enemy was to be portrayed as the very personification of evil, against whom any and all methods were fair game, Alinsky taught that an effective organizer should never give the appearance of being fully satisfied as a result of having resolved any particular conflict via compromise. Any compromise with the “devil” is, after all, by definition morally tainted and thus inadequate. Consequently, while the organizer may acknowledge that he is pleased by the compromise as a small step in the right direction, he must make it absolutely clear that there is still a long way to go, and that many grievances still remain unaddressed. The ultimate goal, said Alinsky, is not to arrive at compromise or peaceful coexistence, but rather to “crush the opposition,” bit by bit.[57] “A People’s Organization is dedicated to eternal war,” said Alinsky. “… A war is not an intellectual debate, and in the war against social evils there are no rules of fair play.… When you have war, it means that neither side can agree on anything…. In our war against the social menaces of mankind there can be no compromise. It is life or death.”[58]

Alinsky warned the organizer to be ever on guard against the possibility that the enemy might unexpectedly offer him “a constructive alternative” aimed at resolving the conflict. Said Alinsky, “You cannot risk being trapped by the enemy in his sudden agreement with your demand and saying, ‘You’re right — we don’t know what to do about this issue. Now you tell us.’”[59] Such capitulation by the enemy would have the effect of diffusing the righteous indignation of the People’s Organization, whose very identity is inextricably woven into the fight for long-denied justice; i.e., whose struggle and identity are synonymous. If the perceived oppressor surrenders or extends a hand of friendship in an effort to end the conflict, the crusade of the People’s Organization is jeopardized. This cannot be permitted. Eternal war, by definition, must never end.

As a proud grateful American who happens to be black, I am frustrated by Leftists’/fake news media’s frenzied exploitation of the racial violence in Charlottesville. How can justice, peace, love and unity prevail when leftists are obsessed with using any and every opportunity to further its socialistic/progressive agenda and mission to overturn the peoples’ election of Trump? Leftists/fake news media promote their narrative that America as founded sucks; is eternally racist, sexist and homophobic. Leftists are not interested in truth, fairness or Americans getting along. Patriotic brotherhood would throw a wrench into Leftists’ American-white-males-are-the-source-of-all-evil-in-the-world story line.

Fake news media is having a cow over Trump rightfully and truthfully declaring all sides guilty of spreading racial hate in Charlottesville. Leftists refuse to acknowledge that black racism is just as evil as white racism. Where were Leftists when Black Lives Matter declared it open season on killing whites and cops? http://bit.ly/21yxsdQ The media for the most part was mute when Black Lives Matter marched down a NY street chanting, “What do we want? So how can we as right minded Americans of all races come together when Leftists who control most of the airways are committed to spreading division, hate and a one-sided bogus story line?

President Trump calling all racism evil was morally correct and presidential. Shamefully, Obama invited, praised and celebrated the extreme hate group Black Lives Matter at the White House. http://bit.ly/29ELFE3 Leftists believe it is morally right for blacks to hate whites. Leftists call me an Uncle Tom traitor to my black race for not reserving a certain amount of resentment and hate for my fellow Americans who are white.

Fake news media attempting to twist Trump’s unifying message to brand him racist is the height of moral bankruptcy and must be rejected by the American people. For far too long, we have shrugged our shoulders in frustration saying, “Oh well, that’s just the bias liberal media.” Meanwhile, Americans are suffering and dying due to fake news media’s insidious propaganda and hate generating lies.

Outrageously, a Leftist ad campaign instilled fear, hate and paranoia in black parents. The evil campaign absurdly instructed black parents to send their kids to school wearing bulletproof vests to protect them from racist cops. http://bit.ly/2tbHrgi

When do we the people say enough and hold Leftists/fake news media accountable for their crimes against all Americans? Please note. I am not advocating violence. I am advocating calling out Leftists/fake news media operatives, exposing them for the vile evil trash that they are; unworthy of our time, respect or support of their sponsors.

Remember, “All that is needed for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing.”

My white wife of 40 years and I recently moved from Florida to a tiny town in West Virginia to be closer to our elderly sickly parents. Mine is one of a few black faces in town. We have experienced none of the stereotypical racism Leftists would have you believe about heartland America. Quite the opposite. Locals have bent over backwards to make Mary and I feel welcome. White neighbor Ron brought us corn from his huge garden; guaranteed to be the sweetest we have ever eaten. Ron was correct.

White local handyman and hunter Randy fixed our hot water heater for peanuts. He promised to keep us stocked in venison. Folks around here are big Trump supporters.

Watching fake news media’s relentless attempts to portray America as a hellhole of white supremacists who elected Trump is truly disheartening and evil. We simply cannot continue allowing them to get away with it. The stakes are too high. Allowing Leftists’ daily fueling of racial hate to go unabated puts American lives at risk.

The local internet provider cannot install wifi in our home until later this month. I’ve been using the wifi at the local country store. When I left the store the other evening an elderly white gentleman complete stranger cheerfully yelled as I was getting into my car, “Have a great evening son!” That gentleman represents the real typical white American of today. The majority of white Americans are not the rabid hate-filled racist fake news media relentlessly tells you they are. If Americans were racist, Obama could not have been elected for two terms considering that blacks are only 12% of the U.S. population.

Donald Trump outlines strategy against North Korea in ’99 Interview.

Understandably, any American who has been paying attention to the North Korea escalation of nuke threats should be highly concerned.

Heck, as a third grader in elementary school in the early 1960’s, I certainly can recall drills with ear-piercing blaring sounds that sent us down to the basement area of the schools where we were told to huddle alongside the walls and hold some books over our heads…as if that would afford us any kind of protection from a nuclear strike from the crazy communists of the Soviet Union!  But I digress…

IMHO, readers here could benefit by reading a blog called “The Last Refuge.” [a.k.a. “The Conservative Treehouse.”]   The content is often spot on and the comment section often adds even more to the original post discussion.

Today I read More Granules – “Friends With Benefits” – Quiet Activity Appears After Phone Calls… Really good post! However, we find out even more valuable information via some of the comments there.

But if a man walks up and puts a gun to your head and says, “Give me your money,” wouldn’t you rather know where he’s coming from before he had the gun in his hand? And these people in three or four years are going to be having nuclear weapons.”

“They’re going to have those weapons pointed all over the world and specifically at the United States. And wouldn’t you be better off solving this really potentially, unbelievable and the biggest problem. I mean, we can talk about the economy, we can talk about Social Security. The biggest problem this world has is nuclear proliferation.”

“And we have a country out there, North Korea, which is sort of wacko, which is not a bunch of dummies. And they are going out and they are developing nuclear weapons. And they’re not doing it because they’re having fun doing it. They’re doing it for a reason. And wouldn’t it be good to sit down and really negotiate something and ideally negotiate. Some talking heads were totally freaking out today over NK. Understandable. I have been waking in the middle of the night to check the news to see if NK had nuked us yet since before the election.

However, I heard retired General Jack Keane a couple of times today on FOX. (Remember he had turned down an opportunity to be on PDJT’s team because of the death of his wife.) He has been saying essentially the same thing that SD has laid out with regards to NK, China, and the power of the economic sanctions.

Everyone waives their hands and dismisses sanctions, and Gen. Keane said, “yes, but not like what President Trump is considering.” He believes this NK issue will be handled through economics. I almost fall over laughing when I look at the expressions on the faces of the talking heads. Incredulous barely covers it. They really need to attend Sundance University.

Dana Perino asked Gen. Keane what people should tell their children who didn’t grow up in the Cold War like we did and are anxious. He said people need to understand that although President Trump hasn’t been in this line of work before, he has unbeatable instincts for the nuances of foreign affairs and he has put together the best national security team around him perhaps ever.

He said they are intelligent, experienced, measured men. He was VERY emphatic in saying we are in the best possible hands. I felt like saying something mature, like “take THAT Dana Perino you Bush loving fool.”

Kim’s a victim of three generations of untreated mental illness. He’s been egged on by China, who buys his guns and pays his bail. He’s never has to pay a price for anything he’s done, and every time he thinks he might have to, he kills enough people to make the problem go away. Kim will keep lobbing stuff and escalating. The proggies hope that Trump jumps in at the lowest Kim escalation possible, and wrongly, so that they can maximize political blame, “Bush” him, and win 2020. They will also carry out actions here under the cover of Kim’s antics.

Remember how cunning China is. Never forget.

England’s Sir Isaac Newton was the most brilliant mathematician and physicist of his day.  His Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy, published in 1687, gave expression to immutable laws of force in the universe–like the law of equal and opposite reaction.  Put in a spiritual way, actions have consequences–we reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7).

All of our actions in life move us in one of two directions:  toward God or away from God.  Our actions either result in God’s blessing or God’s discipline.  While there are many examples of this in Scripture, Israel’s King Saul is a good illustration.  As Israel’s first king, he was given an assignment by God to subdue the neighboring Amalekites.  Because he didn’t obey God’s directive completely, he was removed from being king.  Saul thought God’s judgment was an overreaction; Samuel stressed that it was a matter of obedience.  Only obedience leads to His blessing.

Think about the actions of your life today and the spiritual laws at work.  Choose actions that will move you closer to God and His blessing.

Baron Trump’s Marvelous Underground Journey

It can often be difficult to navigate amongst the various news reports these days, whether they appear on TV, online or in print.  Sometimes it’s hard to tell which news items (or stories) are based on truth… or a lie.

Many people I know are sick of it all and choose not to even listen or watch the TV news anymore.  They prefer reading their news online at trusted conservative sites and/or blogs.  Can’t blame them!

I feel happier when I’m busy with family and friends.  Tuning out the rancor going on in the political world can be soothing for the mind, heart, and soul!

A new article appeared on the WND website that was very interesting, but I wouldn’t label it as “prophecy.”

Admittedly, the book could be considered quite prophetic, in a secular, political way.  Especially because the book contains it’s own anarchists and socialists protesting against those who hate “the rich and those they perceive as oppressors” in the novel.

What was even more interesting to me were the comments! I read the article last night, but just the few comments that were posted there were very diverse!  Some were arguing that no such book exists.  Then, others made claims that they ordered their own copies on Amazon.

The Love of Many Will Wax Cold

Hello my blogging friends, it’s been a while since I’ve had the desire to post here.  Visiting family and the busyness of life can be a convenient excuse, but in my case it’s often true.

A situation occurred back east that left my daughter and I clearly disappointed.  Without going into much detail, let’s just say that no effort was made by certain family members to see us while we were there, primarily for the purpose of visiting my mom.  My daughter was really sad that they couldn’t even take an hour of their time to at least see her 20 month year old daughter.  At least we had a great visit with great-grandma (Grammy) who is 93 years young!

I tried to come up with reasons why this happened.  But being there for four days before that family’s vacation left no good excuse.

My dear cousin drove her 97-year-old mom from N.J. to VA and stayed in the same hotel with us for two days.  Each time these sisters (my mom and my cousin’s mom) get together, the hugs are long and the tears flow.  At their ages, they do not know whether or not they will both be here on this earth for their next reunion.  We all couldn’t help but tear up at the site of them hugging each other!  But in the next moment, they start their comments of slight ridicule…”I hate those black rimmed glasses,” or, “I don’t like your shoes!”  Too funny!

During the plane ride home I recall telling my daughter that, “we can’t make people want to spend time with us.”  It’s sad, but true.

During an email exchange with my best friend, she wrote that the same thing has happened to her when she goes back to N.Y. to visit her mom.  The rest of the family cannot be bothered to visit with her.  She wrote to me, “don’t take it personally, Chris.  People are just wrapped up in their own lives.”  I replied, “you’re right!”  It’s so true.  I mentioned that in our world today, texting, Facebook, Instagram and other social media often takes the place of physical get-togethers.  Sad, but true.

Since I’ve been back home for 11 days, the Bible verse, “the love of many will wax cold” has often come to mind.  Ever since the very contentious election of 2016, the hatred towards those who are even perceived as voting for President Trump is nothing like I’ve ever seen before in my life!

Today, I read an article from WorldNetDaily about Pastor Mark Blitz’s new book and documentary.

Biltz also discussed the recent appearing of a double rainbow over the White House.

Never thought I’d quote Newsweek here, but the stark contrasts of opinions in the article does point out how “the love of many will wax cold.”

The fact that the left wants to equate rainbow appearances in the sky with LGBT pride is in stark contrast with the original meaning in the Bible – which is God’s covenant with His people.

The fact is, the LGBT rainbow is missing a color from God’s rainbow.  The color that is missing from the homosexual rainbow flag is the color blue. It only has the indigo color – dark blue.

Here is the identity of the seven colors of God’s rainbow:

Was the light color blue left out purposely by the LGBT activists?  From a website no longer available:

The light color blue indicates that there has to be that there are laws for people’s lives just as there are laws for the natural world: “Things are made to fall down, not up, and I’m doing as I was made to do.”

This law corresponds to the blue color in the rainbow. Blue is the purest color and the closest to white, which represents original knowledge and truth. Blue is the color of the sky, a cool, soothing color, and it signifies the fulfillment of kindness and love, their peaceful nature which brings us near to heaven.

 

It was in those paragraphs where I read him mention the same Bible verse that came to my mind after my trip back east:

“Americans have become too divisive and polarized,” mourned the pastor. “The atmosphere is corrosive and as the Bible says, ‘the love of many will wax cold.’ Interestingly, the Bible says when Lot spoke to his son-in-laws he was as one who mocked. We have become a nation of mockers.”

The Boston Globe recently reported the path of the upcoming total solar eclipse which will cross the United States on August 21 will overwhelmingly move over counties won by Donald Trump in the recent presidential election.

The paper was mocked on social media for suggesting heavenly events have some connection to earthly politics.

But Pastor Mark Biltz, the man who discovered the “Blood Moons” phenomenon, argues people should be cautious before resorting to snark.

At the same time, though, judgment always begins with God’s people first. This is a call for the church to repent and become more like Abraham rather than Lot and to intercede. Biltz urges believers to look to their own conduct and seek to renew their own communities. He previously stated a total solar eclipse represents a specific warning to a specific nation or nations depending on its path. Therefore, the path of the eclipse could be a sign not just to the United States in general, but for mostly conservative residents of these areas in particular to spearhead a movement of repentance.

President Donald Trump, Biltz suggested, also has a role to play in this movement. And the pastor identified possible precursors in Scripture for Trump’s position.

“As the king of Nineveh led that nation to repentance, may our president do the same,” prayed Biltz. “Many are unaware that there was a total solar eclipse over Nineveh a month before Jonah showed up on the first of the month of Elul, known as the month of repentance before the fall High Holy days. Here we have a total solar eclipse at the first of Elul, the same time frame beginning the month of repentance. It is also the same day Moses ascended the mountain trying to make atonement for his nation.”

The timing of such events, suggested Biltz, is of deep significance, especially when viewed from the Jewish, or biblical, calendar. In his new book “God’s Day Timer,” Biltz suggests adopting the biblical calendar would provide deep insight for Christians seeking to understand the signs of the times.

“If the church would get on God’s calendar and understand ‘God’s Day-Timer’ they would see the prophetic significance of this time,” he claimed.
