Don’t Fall For Leftists Dividing Us Racially to Get Trump

August 17, 2017

The following is a copied post making the rounds on several blogs.  I thought it was excellent; and I applaud Lloyd Marcus for writing it and telling the truth about the media of mass deception’s attempts (a.k.a. Fake News) to continue in the false narrative of the leftists who are hell-bent on dividing us racially in order to get at President Trump!

Don’t Fall For Leftists Dividing Us Racially to Get Trump

By: Lloyd Marcus

As a proud grateful American who happens to be black, I am frustrated by Leftists’/fake news media’s frenzied exploitation of the racial violence in Charlottesville. How can justice, peace, love and unity prevail when leftists are obsessed with using any and every opportunity to further its socialistic/progressive agenda and mission to overturn the peoples’ election of Trump? Leftists/fake news media promote their narrative that America as founded sucks; is eternally racist, sexist and homophobic. Leftists are not interested in truth, fairness or Americans getting along. Patriotic brotherhood would throw a wrench into Leftists’ American-white-males-are-the-source-of-all-evil-in-the-world story line.

Fake news media is having a cow over Trump rightfully and truthfully declaring all sides guilty of spreading racial hate in Charlottesville. Leftists refuse to acknowledge that black racism is just as evil as white racism. Where were Leftists when Black Lives Matter declared it open season on killing whites and cops? http://bit.ly/21yxsdQ The media for the most part was mute when Black Lives Matter marched down a NY street chanting, “What do we want? Dead Cops! When do we want it? Now!!” http://bit.ly/2uY2jqO

Unchallenged or criticized, Black Lives Matter has been inflicting violence across America; numerous incidents which include kidnapping and torturing a Trump supporter and attacking white families at state fairs. http://bit.ly/2p7UHnl Black teens set a 13 year old boy on fire for being white. http://nydn.us/1U6K6ik Have you heard any condemnation of Black Lives Matter from fake news media?

So how can we as right minded Americans of all races come together when Leftists who control most of the airways are committed to spreading division, hate and a one-sided bogus story line?

President Trump calling all racism evil was morally correct and presidential. Shamefully, Obama invited, praised and celebrated the extreme hate group Black Lives Matter at the White House. http://bit.ly/29ELFE3 Leftists believe it is morally right for blacks to hate whites. Leftists call me an Uncle Tom traitor to my black race for not reserving a certain amount of resentment and hate for my fellow Americans who are white.

Fake news media attempting to twist Trump’s unifying message to brand him racist is the height of moral bankruptcy and must be rejected by the American people. For far too long, we have shrugged our shoulders in frustration saying, “Oh well, that’s just the bias liberal media.” Meanwhile, Americans are suffering and dying due to fake news media’s insidious propaganda and hate generating lies.

Outrageously, a Leftist ad campaign instilled fear, hate and paranoia in black parents. The evil campaign absurdly instructed black parents to send their kids to school wearing bulletproof vests to protect them from racist cops. http://bit.ly/2tbHrgi

When do we the people say enough and hold Leftists/fake news media accountable for their crimes against all Americans? Please note. I am not advocating violence. I am advocating calling out Leftists/fake news media operatives, exposing them for the vile evil trash that they are; unworthy of our time, respect or support of their sponsors.

Remember, “All that is needed for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing.”

My white wife of 40 years and I recently moved from Florida to a tiny town in West Virginia to be closer to our elderly sickly parents. Mine is one of a few black faces in town. We have experienced none of the stereotypical racism Leftists would have you believe about heartland America. Quite the opposite. Locals have bent over backwards to make Mary and I feel welcome. White neighbor Ron brought us corn from his huge garden; guaranteed to be the sweetest we have ever eaten. Ron was correct.

White local handyman and hunter Randy fixed our hot water heater for peanuts. He promised to keep us stocked in venison. Folks around here are big Trump supporters.

Watching fake news media’s relentless attempts to portray America as a hellhole of white supremacists who elected Trump is truly disheartening and evil. We simply cannot continue allowing them to get away with it. The stakes are too high. Allowing Leftists’ daily fueling of racial hate to go unabated puts American lives at risk.

The local internet provider cannot install wifi in our home until later this month. I’ve been using the wifi at the local country store. When I left the store the other evening an elderly white gentleman complete stranger cheerfully yelled as I was getting into my car, “Have a great evening son!” That gentleman represents the real typical white American of today. The majority of white Americans are not the rabid hate-filled racist fake news media relentlessly tells you they are. If Americans were racist, Obama could not have been elected for two terms considering that blacks are only 12% of the U.S. population.

Let’s stand together as Americans folks and just say “no” to Leftists’/fake news media’s hate-mongering. Brothers and sisters, “We Are Americans!” http://bit.ly/1AIVqp6

I did not need another reason to avoid G00gle or Facebook.  I have discovered enough reasons in the past.  See this post. The latest “kill babies in the womb” mindset of these company executives continues to display, and add onto, their sick and evil ways!

Daily Caller: Google And Facebook Co-Sponsoring Protest Of Pro-Life Women’s Health Care Clinic.

While looking for this article, I went to Breitbart.com and discovered the existence of a disturbing video. It’s only animation…but when you think of a real human being dismembered in the womb in this way, it’s terribly sad, evil, shocking, and gut-wrenching!

One-Third of ‘Pro-Choice’ Women Turn Against Abortion After Viewing Video of Procedure.

I couldn’t help but think…ONLY one-third of pro-abortion women turn against abortion after viewing the video of the procedure?

Obviously, the other two-thirds are so blinded by their pro-death-to-babies in the womb ideology that they cannot see (or, refuse to see) the absolute evil of abortion!

Donald Trump outlines strategy against North Korea in ’99 Interview.

August 9, 2017

Understandably, any American who has been paying attention to the North Korea escalation of nuke threats should be highly concerned.

Heck, as a third grader in elementary school in the early 1960’s, I certainly can recall drills with ear-piercing blaring sounds that sent us down to the basement area of the schools where we were told to huddle alongside the walls and hold some books over our heads…as if that would afford us any kind of protection from a nuclear strike from the crazy communists of the Soviet Union!  But I digress…

IMHO, readers here could benefit by reading a blog called “The Last Refuge.” [a.k.a. “The Conservative Treehouse.”]   The content is often spot on and the comment section often adds even more to the original post discussion.

Today I read More Granules – “Friends With Benefits” – Quiet Activity Appears After Phone Calls… Really good post! However, we find out even more valuable information via some of the comments there.

First, a video of Donald Trump being interviewed by Tim Russert in 1999:

Donald Trump outlines strategy against North Korea in ’99 Interview.
Tensions between the United States and North Korea have reach a boiling point. President Trump threatened to use ‘fire and fury’ against North Korea. The Hermit Kingdom responded by threatening to strike Guam.

[NOTE: I do not own this video. No copyright infringement intended. All rights reserved to NBC and its subsidiaries.]

In an interview with NBC’s Tim Russert in 1999, then businessman Donald Trump voiced his support for a pre-emptive military strike against North Korea. The businessman told Russert on Meet The Press if he was President, a Trump administration would ‘negotiate like crazy’ to ‘get the best deal possible.’ If a deal was not possible, Trump said he would order a pre-emptive strike.

TIM RUSSERT[:..] “One is North Korea. And you say that you, as president, would be willing to launch a pre-emptive strike against North Korea’s nuclear capability.”

DONALD TRUMP: “First, I’d negotiate. I would negotiate like crazy. And I’d make sure that we tried to get the best deal possible. Look, Tim, if a man walks up to you on a street in Washington because this doesn’t happen, of course, in New York. But if a man walks up and puts a gun to your head and says, “Give me your money,” wouldn’t you rather know where he’s coming from before he had the gun in his hand? And these people in three or four years are going to be having nuclear weapons.”

“They’re going to have those weapons pointed all over the world and specifically at the United States. And wouldn’t you be better off solving this really potentially, unbelievable and the biggest problem. I mean, we can talk about the economy, we can talk about Social Security. The biggest problem this world has is nuclear proliferation.”

“And we have a country out there, North Korea, which is sort of wacko, which is not a bunch of dummies. And they are going out and they are developing nuclear weapons. And they’re not doing it because they’re having fun doing it. They’re doing it for a reason. And wouldn’t it be good to sit down and really negotiate something and ideally negotiate. Now, if that negotiation doesn’t work, you’d better solve the problem now than solve it later, Tim. And you know it and every politician knows it, and nobody wants to talk about it. Jimmy Carter, who I really like, he went over there. It was so soft. These people are laughing at us.”

TIM RUSSERT: “The former general of the Air Force, Meryl McPeek, the former secretary of defense, Les Aspin, said you could not launch a pre-emptive strike against North Korea because the nuclear fallout could be devastating to the Asian peninsula.”

DONALD TRUMP: “I’m not talking about I’m not talking about us using nuclear weapons. I’m saying that they have areas where they’re developing missiles.”

TIM RUSSERT: “No, but taking out their nuclear potential…”

DONALD TRUMP: “Do you know that this country, Tim…”

TIM RUSSERT: “…would create a fallout.”

DONALD TRUMP: “Tim, do you know that this country went out and gave them nuclear reactors, free fuel for 10 years? We we virtually tried to bribe them into stopping, and they’re continuing to do what they’re doing and they’re laughing at us. They think we’re a bunch of dummies. I’m saying that we have to do something to stop. Ideally…”

TIM RUSSERT: “But if the military told you, ‘Mr. Trump, we can’t do this’…”

DONALD TRUMP: “You give me two names you’re giving me two names. I don’t know. Do you want to do it in five years when they have warheads all over the place, every one of them pointing to New York City, to Washington and every one of our cities…is that when you want to do it, or do you want to do something now?”

It all kind of makes my head spin, but it does all seem to tie together.

Some talking heads were totally freaking out today over NK. Understandable. I have been waking in the middle of the night to check the news to see if NK had nuked us yet since before the election.

However, I heard retired General Jack Keane a couple of times today on FOX. (Remember he had turned down an opportunity to be on PDJT’s team because of the death of his wife.) He has been saying essentially the same thing that SD has laid out with regards to NK, China, and the power of the economic sanctions.

Everyone waives their hands and dismisses sanctions, and Gen. Keane said, “yes, but not like what President Trump is considering.” He believes this NK issue will be handled through economics. I almost fall over laughing when I look at the expressions on the faces of the talking heads. Incredulous barely covers it. They really need to attend Sundance University.

Dana Perino asked Gen. Keane what people should tell their children who didn’t grow up in the Cold War like we did and are anxious. He said people need to understand that although President Trump hasn’t been in this line of work before, he has unbeatable instincts for the nuances of foreign affairs and he has put together the best national security team around him perhaps ever.

He said they are intelligent, experienced, measured men. He was VERY emphatic in saying we are in the best possible hands. I felt like saying something mature, like “take THAT Dana Perino you Bush loving fool.”

I want sundance’s hope to be true. I really do. Peace must be our goal.

But I am prepared for the downside. 100% prepared. Dirty Harry, Unforgiven, Josey Wales prepared.

Kim’s a victim of three generations of untreated mental illness. He’s been egged on by China, who buys his guns and pays his bail. He’s never has to pay a price for anything he’s done, and every time he thinks he might have to, he kills enough people to make the problem go away. Only this time, he’s up against a good man who won’t back down.

If Kim starts a big fight, he’s a hero to all these scum-of-the-earth Clinton progs who built him up with full intention, as a proxy for China to hold a gun on us. A fifth column, right here in America, already cheering for Fat Boy Kim against the President.

spit

So will Kim back down? No. That was never in the cards. Obastard knows it, too.

Kim will keep lobbing stuff and escalating. The proggies hope that Trump jumps in at the lowest Kim escalation possible, and wrongly, so that they can maximize political blame, “Bush” him, and win 2020. They will also carry out actions here under the cover of Kim’s antics.

Remember how cunning China is. Never forget.

SPIT

The way to beat them is to choose the right time, the right place, and the right response.

Obama’s lying “strategic patience” was to build Kim up.

Trump’s true strategic patience – should Kim choose war – is to bring him down.

Total victory. Political. Economic. Military. TOTAL.

End it. Empty his death camps. Then walk China past the ovens by breaking down their firewalls and make their citizens see what their own sick communist leaders did.

Make our proggies see it too.

As for what you are expecting, I hope I’m wrong, but to borrow some words….

“I reckon so.”

Forgive me as I am posting this again for all who haven’t read it if you are interested in the Trump/Ross/Mnuchin/Tillerson approach and sanctions on NK. “Risky Business: A System-Level Analysis of the North Korean Proliferation Financing System” (It is 38 pages , but many of the answers to questions you may have are there.)

It shows how economic sanctions may work and why Secs Ross and Mnuchin are implementing targeted trade bans and why they work.

[Note from Christine: The above link is in PDF form and is 38 pages. Here is a live link: SquareSpace.com: Risky Business PDF]

This is not sound-bite analysis favored by the ‘News’. It shows how looking at the economic aspect and using that leverage may change behavior. Equally applies to Russia.

Yes!  Here is hoping that the economic sanctions WILL work and that Crazy Kim will back down!

We all need to keep this dangerous situation in our prayers!

Spiritual Laws

August 8, 2017

But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD has rejected you from being king over Israel.” – 1 Samuel 15:26

England’s Sir Isaac Newton was the most brilliant mathematician and physicist of his day.  His Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy, published in 1687, gave expression to immutable laws of force in the universe–like the law of equal and opposite reaction.  Put in a spiritual way, actions have consequences–we reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7).

All of our actions in life move us in one of two directions:  toward God or away from God.  Our actions either result in God’s blessing or God’s discipline.  While there are many examples of this in Scripture, Israel’s King Saul is a good illustration.  As Israel’s first king, he was given an assignment by God to subdue the neighboring Amalekites.  Because he didn’t obey God’s directive completely, he was removed from being king.  Saul thought God’s judgment was an overreaction; Samuel stressed that it was a matter of obedience.  Only obedience leads to His blessing.

Think about the actions of your life today and the spiritual laws at work.  Choose actions that will move you closer to God and His blessing.

[God] doesn’t demand our achievements; He demands our obedience.  – Charles Colson

Baron Trump’s Marvelous Underground Journey

August 7, 2017

It can often be difficult to navigate amongst the various news reports these days, whether they appear on TV, online or in print.  Sometimes it’s hard to tell which news items (or stories) are based on truth… or a lie.

Many people I know are sick of it all and choose not to even listen or watch the TV news anymore.  They prefer reading their news online at trusted conservative sites and/or blogs.  Can’t blame them!

I feel happier when I’m busy with family and friends.  Tuning out the rancor going on in the political world can be soothing for the mind, heart, and soul!

A new article appeared on the WND website that was very interesting, but I wouldn’t label it as “prophecy.”

WND:
Trump ‘prophecy’ novels from 1896 hit home in 2017
Characters include ‘Baron Trump,’ key venue Russia, theme = ‘resistance’

Well, at least they put the prophecy word in quotes so as not to compare it to biblical prophecy.

Excerpt:

A 19th century American novelist’s work is attracting more notice in 2017 than it did in his day because of striking similarities to current events.

Ingersoll Lockwood, an attorney and political writer, wrote several books, including children’s stories featuring the name “Baron Trump.”

baron-trumps-marvelous-underground-journey-600Trump, an aristocratically wealthy young man living in Castle Trump, is the protagonist of Lockwood’s first two fictional novels, “The Travels and Adventures of Little Baron Trump” and “His Wonderful Dog Bulgar and Baron Trump’s Marvelous Underground Journey.” The little boy, who has an unending imagination and “a very active brain,” is bored with his luxurious lifestyle, so he visits Russia to embark on an extraordinary adventure with “the master of all masters,” a man named Don. President Donald Trump’s youngest son’s name is “Barron.”

Before leaving for Russia, Baron Trump is told his family’s motto is: “The pathway to glory is strewn with pitfalls and dangers.” In Russia, he is in search of the entrance to a pathway into alternative dimensions.

Ironically, Lockwood’s final novel arrived in 1896, titled “The Last President.”

The story begins with a scene from a panicked New York City in early November, describing a “state of uproar” after the election of a widely controversial outsider candidate.

*******

Read the rest at link above.
Admittedly, the book could be considered quite prophetic, in a secular, political way.  Especially because the book contains it’s own anarchists and socialists protesting against those who hate “the rich and those they perceive as oppressors” in the novel.

What was even more interesting to me were the comments! I read the article last night, but just the few comments that were posted there were very diverse!  Some were arguing that no such book exists.  Then, others made claims that they ordered their own copies on Amazon.

Interesting though…isn’t it?

The Love of Many Will Wax Cold

August 6, 2017

Hello my blogging friends, it’s been a while since I’ve had the desire to post here.  Visiting family and the busyness of life can be a convenient excuse, but in my case it’s often true.

A situation occurred back east that left my daughter and I clearly disappointed.  Without going into much detail, let’s just say that no effort was made by certain family members to see us while we were there, primarily for the purpose of visiting my mom.  My daughter was really sad that they couldn’t even take an hour of their time to at least see her 20 month year old daughter.  At least we had a great visit with great-grandma (Grammy) who is 93 years young!

I tried to come up with reasons why this happened.  But being there for four days before that family’s vacation left no good excuse.

My dear cousin drove her 97-year-old mom from N.J. to VA and stayed in the same hotel with us for two days.  Each time these sisters (my mom and my cousin’s mom) get together, the hugs are long and the tears flow.  At their ages, they do not know whether or not they will both be here on this earth for their next reunion.  We all couldn’t help but tear up at the site of them hugging each other!  But in the next moment, they start their comments of slight ridicule…”I hate those black rimmed glasses,” or, “I don’t like your shoes!”  Too funny!

During the plane ride home I recall telling my daughter that, “we can’t make people want to spend time with us.”  It’s sad, but true.

During an email exchange with my best friend, she wrote that the same thing has happened to her when she goes back to N.Y. to visit her mom.  The rest of the family cannot be bothered to visit with her.  She wrote to me, “don’t take it personally, Chris.  People are just wrapped up in their own lives.”  I replied, “you’re right!”  It’s so true.  I mentioned that in our world today, texting, Facebook, Instagram and other social media often takes the place of physical get-togethers.  Sad, but true.

Since I’ve been back home for 11 days, the Bible verse, “the love of many will wax cold” has often come to mind.  Ever since the very contentious election of 2016, the hatred towards those who are even perceived as voting for President Trump is nothing like I’ve ever seen before in my life!

Today, I read an article from WorldNetDaily about Pastor Mark Blitz’s new book and documentary.

Signs in sky reveal America as ‘Covenant’ nation, says ‘Blood Moons’ discoverer
Mark Biltz: Coming solar eclipse may be warning, and ‘I would not mock’

Biltz also discussed the recent appearing of a double rainbow over the White House.

Never thought I’d quote Newsweek here, but the stark contrasts of opinions in the article does point out how “the love of many will wax cold.”

Excerpt:

Both the right and left interpreted the double rainbow as more than just a weather phenomenon but had vastly different takes. Trump fans suggested on Twitter that God sent the rainbow and was protecting the White House in the President’s absence, while Trump critics wrote that the weather was celebrating the fact that he was gone.

You can read the rest HERE.

The fact that the left wants to equate rainbow appearances in the sky with LGBT pride is in stark contrast with the original meaning in the Bible – which is God’s covenant with His people.

The fact is, the LGBT rainbow is missing a color from God’s rainbow.  The color that is missing from the homosexual rainbow flag is the color blue. It only has the indigo color – dark blue.

Here is the identity of the seven colors of God’s rainbow:

Always remember the name ROY G. BIV
Red, Orange, Yellow. Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet

Was the light color blue left out purposely by the LGBT activists?  From a website no longer available:

The light color blue indicates that there has to be that there are laws for people’s lives just as there are laws for the natural world: “Things are made to fall down, not up, and I’m doing as I was made to do.”

This law corresponds to the blue color in the rainbow. Blue is the purest color and the closest to white, which represents original knowledge and truth. Blue is the color of the sky, a cool, soothing color, and it signifies the fulfillment of kindness and love, their peaceful nature which brings us near to heaven.

It was in those paragraphs where I read him mention the same Bible verse that came to my mind after my trip back east:

Biltz agreed they were signs, but suggested the rainbows aren’t about a particular president, policies or a party. Instead, they are a symbol of God’s relationship with the larger nation.

“The rainbow speaks of God’s covenant that He won’t break His word,” Biltz told WND. “I believe God is telling us we are a covenant nation, which is why we will be held accountable if we break covenant. There is hope if we pray. And we should always be praying for the president whoever it may be.”

Ultimately, Biltz argued, America is entering a troubling time because of the collapse of the Christian faith in the United States and rising political and social divisions as the culture breaks down. Biltz suggests God is giving America a chance to turn back to Him. But this requires taking the signs of the times seriously.

“Americans have become too divisive and polarized,” mourned the pastor. “The atmosphere is corrosive and as the Bible says, ‘the love of many will wax cold.’ Interestingly, the Bible says when Lot spoke to his son-in-laws he was as one who mocked. We have become a nation of mockers.”

More from WND:

Path of solar eclipseThe discoverer of the “Blood Moons” phenomenon says God is sending a message to the church – and all people need to do to see it is look skyward.

The Boston Globe recently reported the path of the upcoming total solar eclipse which will cross the United States on August 21 will overwhelmingly move over counties won by Donald Trump in the recent presidential election.

The paper was mocked on social media for suggesting heavenly events have some connection to earthly politics.

But Pastor Mark Biltz, the man who discovered the “Blood Moons” phenomenon, argues people should be cautious before resorting to snark.

He points out Genesis 1:14, which says astronomical phenomena were partially intended “for signs.” And as Biltz believes the solar eclipse itself is a sign and a warning to the United States, he suggests there may also be meaning in the solar eclipse’s path.

“I would not mock those who do or do not believe there is significance in this eclipse’s path,” the pastor told WND. “The path of totality is showing where it is the darkest and the path of judgment unless there is repentance. At the same time, though, judgment always begins with God’s people first. This is a call for the church to repent and become more like Abraham rather than Lot and to intercede. The church needs to wake up and repent if we are to save this nation and not be mocking the unrighteous. We need a different tone in America.”

Biltz urges believers to look to their own conduct and seek to renew their own communities. He previously stated a total solar eclipse represents a specific warning to a specific nation or nations depending on its path. Therefore, the path of the eclipse could be a sign not just to the United States in general, but for mostly conservative residents of these areas in particular to spearhead a movement of repentance.

President Donald Trump, Biltz suggested, also has a role to play in this movement. And the pastor identified possible precursors in Scripture for Trump’s position.

“As the king of Nineveh led that nation to repentance, may our president do the same,” prayed Biltz. “Many are unaware that there was a total solar eclipse over Nineveh a month before Jonah showed up on the first of the month of Elul, known as the month of repentance before the fall High Holy days. Here we have a total solar eclipse at the first of Elul, the same time frame beginning the month of repentance. It is also the same day Moses ascended the mountain trying to make atonement for his nation.”

The timing of such events, suggested Biltz, is of deep significance, especially when viewed from the Jewish, or biblical, calendar. In his new book “God’s Day Timer,” Biltz suggests adopting the biblical calendar would provide deep insight for Christians seeking to understand the signs of the times.

“If the church would get on God’s calendar and understand ‘God’s Day-Timer’ they would see the prophetic significance of this time,” he claimed.

The Bible story is more miraculous and astounding than you could have imagined. See the incredible proof of the unchanging nature of God – and the exciting clues to what awaits at the end of days in “God’s Day Timer” by Mark Biltz, available as a book or documentary now in the WND Superstore.

Of course, the upcoming solar eclipse isn’t the only heavenly marvel garnering attention. A double rainbow appeared above the White House on Thursday night, leading to leftists and conservatives arguing about what it all means. Sebastian Gorka, a member of the national security advisory staff, called the rainbows “beautiful signs.”

Faith in Jesus Christ is our response to God's elective purpose in our life. These two truths--God's initiative and man's response--co-exist throughout the Bible. The gospel is "the message of truth" because truth is its predominant characteristic. Salvation was conceived by the God of truth (Ps. 31:5); purchased by the Son, who is the truth (John 14:6); and is applied by the Spirit of truth (John 16:13). To know it is to know the truth that sets men free (John 8:32). Believers are people of the truth (John 18:37), who worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24), and who obey the Word of truth (John 17:17). People have rejected, neglected, redefined, and opposed God’s truth for centuries. Some cynically deny that truth even exists or that it can be known by men (John 18:38). Others foolishly think that denying truth will somehow make it go away. Truth determines the validity of one's belief. Believing a lie doesn't make it true. Conversely, failing to believe the truth doesn't make it a lie. The gospel is true because Jesus is true, not simply because Christians believe in Him. His resurrection proved the truth of His claims and constitutes the objective basis of our faith (Rom. 1:4; 1 Pet. 1:3). Truth is our protection and strength (Eph. 6:14). Throughout history, people have tried everything imaginable to gain favor with God. Most turn to religion, but religion apart from Christ is merely a satanic counterfeit of the truth. At the heart of every false religion is the notion that man can come to God by any means he chooses--by meditating, doing good deeds, and so on. But Scripture says, "There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). That name is Jesus Christ, and we come to Him by confessing and repenting of our sin, trusting in His atoning death on the cross, and affirming His bodily resurrection from the grave (cf. Rom. 10:9-10). There is no other way to God. False religious leaders and teachers talk much about God’s love, but not His wrath and holiness; much about how deprived of good things people are, but not about their depravity; much about God’s universal fatherhood toward everyone, but not much about his unique fatherhood toward all who believe in His Son; much about what God wants to give to us, but nothing about the necessity of obedience to Him; much about health and happiness, but nothing about holiness and sacrifice. Their message is full of gaps, the greatest of which leaves out a biblical worldview of the saving gospel and replaces it with the worldview of postmodernism with its dominant ethical system of relativism. The Bible describes mankind in the end times: “always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Tim. 3:7). Spiritual answers cannot be deduced by human reason alone (1 Cor. 2:14). It’s not that spiritual truth is irrational or illogical, but that human wisdom is defective, because it’s tainted by man’s sinfulness, and unable to perceive the things of God. That is why the Bible is so important. It gives us the answers we can’t find on our own. It is God’s Word to mankind. Scripture is divinely revealed truth that fills the vacuum of spiritual ignorance in all of us. Post-truth is the word of the year for 2016 and also the philosophy of the day, According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. In a “post-truth” world, people make choices based on emotion and experience rather than objective fact. So in a post-truth world, truth is irrelevant. What exactly is a post-truth culture? It’s a culture where truth is no longer an objective reality. It has become subjective. It’s what’s true for me—my beliefs, my opinions, determine my truth. So in our post-truth culture, man determines truth. Man makes himself the ultimate authority. This starting point, which rejects God’s Word and the idea of moral absolutes, makes truth subjective. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Christianity is grounded in objective truth. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Objective truth exists because we have God’s Word. In the Gospel of John, Jesus says, “Sanctify them by Your truth. Thy word is truth” (John 17:17), and Paul and James describe the Bible as “the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15; James 1:18). The Psalmist says, “The entirety of your word is truth” (Psalm 119:160). Jesus Himself said, “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice” (John 18:37). When Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by me” (John 14:6), He wasn’t expressing His personal belief or opinion. He was speaking the truth, a fundamental reality that doesn’t change from person to person. It doesn’t matter if our culture thinks all roads lead to God. The truth of the matter is “no one comes to the Father but by [Jesus].” This blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." - George Orwell
