I’m curious, dear readers. How will each of you individually answer that question?
Everything in life requires personal decisions on our part. Is it important to have wisdom and knowledge regarding any (and possibly all) decisions? Do you agree or disagree with either of those claims?
Do you agree or disagree that such decisions and points about life may depend on your relationship with God?
1 John 2:25 says, “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.”
There is something very true in refusing to let the world corrupt you.
Throughout my life, I have seen much corruption and evil. It can be very scary, disheartening and maybe even make one feel so desperate that he or she may think that this life is not worth living. I can recall feeling hopelessness before being born again in Christ. For me, it was an issue of what’s life’s purpose? People can answer that question in thousands of ways, depending on what they choose to do, become, and then treasure about one’s life.
There are Bible verses that inform us that “whatever one treasures, there your heart will be also.”
Mat 6:21 – “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Luk 12:34 – “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
We are warned “not to love the world” meaning, the things in it and of it.
1 John 2:25 says, “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.”
Of course we are told to love one another. That’s a given. But I think that anyone would admit that it’s hard to love everyone – especially when they do evil.
Jesus warned us why the world would hate us (as Christians):
Jhn 15:18 – “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
Jhn 15:25 – “But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.'[fn] Psalm 69:4
Psa 69:4 – Those who hate me without a cause
Are more than the hairs of my head;
They are mighty who would destroy me,
Being my enemies wrongfully;
Though I have stolen nothing,
I still must restore it.
Jesus Christ has restored us! Those who believe in Him through repentance at the foot of the cross and belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior will spend eternity in a place far better than this earth. Our journey here is but a short breath of time compared to eternal life!
Yes. We must endure what is thrown at us in this life, looking forward to the everlasting life to come with God.
While here on this earth, we, as authentic Christians are urged and told to endure the darts of the enemy of our souls. Such darts often come through the actions of the unsaved who often live in sin and darkness.
Quote from Truth2 Freedom blog:
“This doesn’t mean that authentic Christians do not commit sin; after all, Jesus is the only sinless human who walked the earth (1 Peter 2:22, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 3:5, Hebrews 4:15). Rather, when true believers commit sin, they are convicted by the Holy Spirit (see John 16:8) and live a life of repentance. They are set free from living in bondage to sin and have been purified by the blood of the Lamb.
Because believers know that we will someday give an account for the way we lived our lives (2 Corinthians 5:10), authentic Christians strive to serve God and obey His Word. They understand that God’s opinion carries more weight than man’s because Galatians 1:10 reminds us, “If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.”
The turmoil that we have been through because of the virus pandemic, and also because of the fact that the 2020 election has been so vicious and often filled with hate (from our opponents on the other side of the political field) that it has been very difficult to cope with for us all!”
I hope people reading this will again view a previous post here entitled, “Red or Blue, What Would Jesus Do?”
In the case of Joe Biden, the video of him actually admitting voter fraud by his campaign has either been squelched by the media of mass deception and ignored, or often deleted on social media.
I recall 0bama telling Joe, “ you don’t have to do this.” I’m sure that the people closest to him know that Joe has dementia and possibly other age related ailments. It’s sad that someone would be used like that. If he gets into the presidency, it likely won’t be long before his VP pick would take over. Some are even suggesting that it would (perhaps secretly?) be 0bama’s third term. Well, he lives right down the street from the White House.
Nevertheless, it’s in God’s hands.
I do know that President Trump’s presidency has exposed so much corruption by the deep state actors who all want to usher in socialism.
But the good news is that during his first term in office, President Trump has fulfilled prophecy regarding Israel!
There is a book out called The Oracle: The Jubilean Mysteries Unveiled” written by a Messianic Jew author named Jonathan Cahn.
You can do a search and read about it at christianbook.com
Here’s some information from that link:
* “Could an ancient prophecy and a mysterious ordinance given in a Middle Eastern desert over three thousand years ago be determining the events of our day?
* Could some of the most famous people of modern history and current events be secretly linked to this mystery-even a modern president of the United States.
* Could this ancient revelation pinpoint the events of our times down to the year, month, and day of theiroccuring?
* Could a mysterious phenomenon be manifesting on the world stage on an exact timetable determined from ancient times?
* Could these manifestations have altered-and now be altering-the course of world events?
The reader will discover the ancient scrolls that contain the appointed words that have determined the course of world history from the onset of modern times up to our day. The revelation is so big that it will involve and open up the mysteries of everything and everyone from Mark Twain to Moses, from King Nebuchadnezzar to Donald Trump, from the fall of empires to the rise of America, from a mystery hidden in a desert cave to another in an ancient scroll, from the palace of the Persian Empire to the US Senate, from the Summer of Love to the Code of Babylon, and much, much more.
Ultimately the Oracle will reveal the secret that lies behind end-time prophecy and the mystery of the end of the age.
As with The Harbinger and The Book of Mysteries, Cahn reveals the mysteries through a narrative. A traveler is given seven keys; each will open up one of seven doors. Behind each doors lies a stream of mysteries. The reader will be taken on a journey of angels and prophetic revelations waiting to be discovered behind each of the seven doors-the ancient secrets that lie behind the world-changing events of modern times-and revelations of what is yet to come.
Hailed as a mind-blowing masterpiece, The Oracle will reveal mysteries that are absolutely real, amazing, stunning, mind-blowing, and life-changing.”
Dear Readers, now might be a good time to get right with God. After all, as the years go by, we find ourselves closer to Jesus’ return for His own.
