During a recent search online, I discovered a website called Breaking Israel News. It is a site that covers the latest news from a biblical perspective.  Unfortunately, today’s headline on the front page shares the latest attack from Gaza upon the Jewish State of Israel and how the IAF Strikes Gaza Following Rocket Fire on Israel.

However, the first page that I read there had to do with an interesting article written back in March about “Four Blood Moons Movie”: The Winners and Losers.

Links within the post brought even more fascinating information!

There are many to read, but here are the ones I have read so far:

1. New Blood Moon Revelation Claims to Reveal Date of Biblical Exodus

Excerpt:

O’Dell offered Monday night for the first time a new, comprehensive theory that he says fits all of the available astronomical data and is consistent with Biblical scripture.

O’Dell claims that the Blood Moons are not a sign of Divine Judgment, but a witness in the sky that God has not forgotten His covenant to restore His people to their land.

Here is another exciting discovery that could not have been realized until the age of computers came along!  This portion was truly eye-opening:

“My mouth nearly dropped to the floor when I discovered the path of the 1492 solar eclipse.”

NASA has tracked the path of the solar eclipse of April 26, 1492, which began in the Pacific Ocean south of the equator and traveled northeast crossing the thin land bridge where, years later, the Panama Canal would be built. On the Jewish calendar, April 26, 1492 corresponds to the fifth day of Passover (20 Nissan), which the Bible states is two days before the Exodus from Egypt and the splitting of the sea.

After then clipping the very top of South America, the path of the 1492 solar eclipse headed southeast in the Atlantic Ocean very close to the shortest crossing point between South America and Africa.

“It is almost like it was a signpost being placed on earth for later generations to see, once the age of computers would arrive,” O’Dell explained to Breaking Israel News.

“God could have been saying to the world, that yes, you can expel the Jews from Spain, but I am going to open up the Americas so they would have a place of refuge until their ultimate homeland was ready to receive them.”

 

3. CUFI Denounces Journalist for Article Attacking Pastor John Hagee

As with anything else that a Christian Pastor presents as evidence of the God of the Bible, Pastor Hagee was attacked by a Huffington Post writer who apparently wrote an untruthful screed against Hagee; accusing him of anti-Semitism!

Four Blood Moons Update

There are various opinions regarding the phenomenon known as the Four Blood Moons.  In a previous post, I shared some thoughts about the Four Blood Moons Documentary which was shown in theaters nationwide on two specific dates back in March and April, 2015.

I was curious to find out when the documentary would be released on DVD, and found my answer at the Four Blood Moons movie website. It will be available on June 23, 2015.

Warning Signs: Israel Will Attack Iran Soon

While checking out some of the headlines from my former blog’s links, I found an important article written by Alan Caruba at his blog Warning Signs. Found the article via Noisy Room.

I have thought for some time now that Israel will eventually be the nation that will need to take out the nuclear reactors in Iran. Our current resident at the White House (and his boss – Valerie Jarrett) will need to “save face” and claim that a deal (no matter how awful it will probably be!) has been made with the taqiyya Mullahs of that Islamic terrorist regime; leaving the entire world vulnerable to the Islamist fanatics!

When I read Alan’s name, it sounded familiar to me. Years ago, I think that he may have been a friend on Facebook. Since I don’t venture into that social media realm anymore, I’m glad that I found his blog!

Israel Will Attack Iran Soon

The Israelis will destroy several Iranian nuclear facilities and my educated guess is that they will do so before the end of this year.

Israel has no margin of error when it comes to nuclear reactors in nations that threaten its existence. While President Obama does everything in his power to enable Iran to create its own nuclear weapons, it is a good idea to recall that in June 1981 the Israelis destroyed a reactor in Iraq. It was the first air strike against such a facility. In September 2007, the Israelis destroyed a Syrian reactor. There was no reprisal in either case.

From Wednesday, April 22 to Friday April 24 the Israelis struck Hizbollah and Syrian military targets in the Walamoun Mountains on the Syrian-Lebanese border. The calculations were that the location, a site for long-range missiles, would be safer from the Israelis. They were wrong.

In September 2014, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations General Assembly warning “don’t be fooled by Iran’s manipulative charm offensive. It’s designed for one purpose and for one purpose only. To lift the sanctions and remove the obstacles to Iran’s path to the bomb.”

“Once Iran produces atomic bombs, all the charm and all the smiles will suddenly disappear. They’ll just vanish. It’s then that the ayatollahs will show their true face and unleash their aggressive fanaticism on the entire world.” He offered a comparable message to a joint meeting of Congress in March of this year.

Is anyone listening? Not President Obama. On April 25, writing in The Wall Street Journal, Mortimer Zuckerman, the chairman and editor in chief of the U.S. News and World Report, said “President Obama has been chasing a rainbow in his negotiations with Iran. He has forsaken decades of pledges to the civilized world from presidents of both parties. He has misled the American people in repeatedly affirming that the U.S. would never allow revolutionary Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.”

It’s bad enough when you can’t trust your nation’s enemies, but when you cannot trust your own President you have a very big problem because Iran is not just a threat to America and Israel, but to the entire world.

Obama’s anti-Semitism is obvious to anyone paying the least attention. He particularly loathes Israel. In early April the White House let its unhappiness be known that Netanyahu had, in its words, failed to tone down “hostile and aggressive language” of the Passover religious service. What were those words? “Next year in Jerusalem.”

This is an ancient Jewish prayer that sustained generations of Jews over the course of two millennia, expressing their hope to return to their homeland. To the White House, however, it was “affront to the Palestinians, not to mention a slap in the face to President Obama himself who has worked tirelessly for peace despite Israeli intransigence.” The Jews returned to Israel, declared its independence in 1948, and have had the support of every President since…until Obama.

The Israelis know this. Since their independence the Israelis have fought seven recognized wars, two Palestinian intifadas, and a series of armed conflicts in the broader Arab-Israeli conflict. Most recently they put down Hamas in the Gaza once again for its repeated rocketing.

Despite or because of this, the Israelis have sought to demonstrate good will toward their Arab neighbors. There is an untold story of the December 2014 meeting of six Gulf Cooperation Council rulers in the Qatari capital of Doha to discuss steps to respond to challenges that include Iranian aggression and clamping down on the Muslim Brotherhood.

Sources close to event report that Netanyahu has achieved close coordination with the most important Arab leaders that include Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Other members of the Council include Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.

The Israelis have no choice, nor do I anticipate that Iran will do much, if anything, to respond in the wake of the ashes of those facilities. No other nation will come to their aid.

I think he is correct!

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has won re-election; precisely because the Israelis know that they will need a strong leader to prevent Iran from EVER acquiring a nuclear weapon.  If the diabolical and fanatical Iranians ever did create a nuclear weapon, (God forbid!) they would not hesitate to immediately use it to  attack Israel!

0bama won’t prevent it.

Jarrett – his Iranian born “advisor” certainly won’t tell her puppet Barry to prevent it.

Therefore, if Jesus tarries, it will take a brave human leader like Netanyahu in Israel to not only save Israel and the United States of America from the Iranian fanatics (who would not hesitate to use a nuclear weapon against either one of our countries!);  but will also end up helping to save the entire world from the radical Islamic Caliphate-wannabes in Iran from getting the nuclear bomb!

In addition to Joel’s excellent reporting, I found an article via WND where Rush Limbaugh enters into the discussion regarding this BADministration’s unthinkable abandonment of one of our closest allies – Israel.

Occasionally, I have had the chance to listen to the Rush Limbaugh radio show.  Several days ago (or maybe over a week ago?) a caller brought up the issue that it appears that Ozero has made a conscious effort to abandon Israel in order to make a nuke deal with Iran.  He has also made the Sunni Muslim countries – especially Saudi Arabia – VERY nervous!

During Limbaugh’s answer and discussion, he stated that he wasn’t going to get “end times” or “biblical” about it, but stated the obvious shift in America’s “friendliness” to one of our closest allies (Israel) towards a more hostile relationship as very disturbing!  In addition, he mentioned that the Saudis (Sunni Muslim) were becoming very nervous about the secret deal that the BADministration was trying to make with Iran (Shiite Muslim).

Today, we learned that the Saudis came in to help in the Yemen conflict without telling Ozero about it.

It is now seen as 0bama’s Mideast Freefall.

I don’t know because I haven’t listened to his radio show often enough to know his religious beliefs. But I do know that his political explanations along with the end times discussion made for quite an interesting read over at WND! [link above]

If you read the “White House condemns rebel attacks in Yemen” article, you would read:

U.S. officials also point to progress in the fight against ISIL, which began in August. On Thursday, retired Gen. John Allen, Obama’s envoy to the coalition fighting ISIL, told the House Foreign Affairs Committee that the U.S.-led campaign is “clearly degrading” the group.

That effort also faces new uncertainty. After the U.S. began striking at militants in Tikrit, three Shiite militias with ties to Iran abandoned the fight there, protesting the American role.

Ultimately, senior Obama officials say, there are limits to what the U.S. can accomplish in the region. They argue that the chaos is fueled by ethnic and religious forces largely beyond America’s control.

And they warn against overreacting to the roller coaster of daily news headlines in an area that rarely knows calm.

“There’s a sense that the only view worth having on the Middle East is the long view,” said the State Department official. “We’ve painfully seen that good can turn to bad and bad can turn to good in an instant, which might be a sobriety worth holding on to at moments like this.”

The official offered a hopeful note, adding that a nuclear deal with Iran — which some reports say could come as soon as Sunday — could be a turning point for the region.

“The truth is, you can dwell on Yemen, or you can recognize that we’re one agreement away from a game-changing, legacy-setting nuclear accord on Iran that tackles what every one agrees is the biggest threat to the region,” the official said.

REALLY???

They are betting the whole “farm” on a “game-changing, legacy-setting nuclear accord on Iran”???

What’s more, they conclude with “[accord on Iran] that tackles what every one agrees is the biggest threat to the region.”

Now I ask readers…does it make sense to make a nuclear arms deal with the biggest state sponsor of terrorism [Iran] over the past 50 or more years and then trust them to get a nuclear bomb (HORRORS!!!) because they “agree” to not use 6,000 centrifuges in order to create a bomb over the next 10 years??   Or, do you think it would be wiser to listen to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and continue to impose heavy sanctions in order to prevent the al-taqiyya mullahs [note:  it is called “sacred taqiyya”!] from EVER getting a nuclear weapon in the first place?

I first heard about this idea via my Word Press reader when I found willisbryanblog: The Coming of the Fourth Reich.

Today, I received an email from Act for America which linked to the original source of this information which is found at The Daily Mail.com UK.  Upon doing a search with the term “ISIS: The Fourth Reich”  through Start Page, I found over 83,000 results!  Therefore, this story took off like a firestorm ever since it was originally published on March 21, 2015.

I have shared several links to read, plus a video to view. However, I agree with willisbryanblog when he states that “The Fourth Reich” would most likely go through a name change. No group – no matter how nasty, evil, and filled with terrorism – wants to be “outed” as another Hitler Nazi-type regime. Besides, the Islamic “titles” always have radical Islamic intentions behind them (e.g. “Boko Haram” means “no education” and ISIL means “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.”  Note: The “Levant” includes Israel!)

One tactic and tool a tyrannical despotic ruler could use was a Nationalized Police Force, sort of like the Gestapo. Another would be a “secret police force”, where one citizen would spy on another citizen and report back on any activity the government thought to be anti-what ever the case may be that day. The national registry could be established in many ways, but the easiest is mandatory voting. If everyone that is eligible to vote has to vote, everyone must register. But, even this draconian measure would only net a portion of the population. It would only be a partial list, registry, as only those eligible to vote would be registered, but this would be a huge start. But how to finish the registry? That would be easy in a tyrannical despotic empire. All that would be required is for some bureaucrat in an agency that oversees travel to come up with a requirement for in-country travel papers, an in-country passport. That would only require a triggering event, such as a terrorist attack, even if it were staged. It would then be required for safety and security. The government would say they are only looking for suspected terrorists, and the terrorists would not have an in-country passport. If you are not in possession of one you must be a terrorist.

Ah yes! Ozero more recently discussed the need for “mandatory voting”, until it was found out that it might be raaaacist! [This just can’t be made up people!!! *sigh*] The more proper objection is found at the end of the article:

Fox News reports that Frank Askin, a law professor at Rutgers University, argues:

“I don’t think you can do it in this country because I don’t think the First Amendment would permit it…People have a right to opt out of elections.”

No one can accurately predict the impact of mandatory voting, but any such mandate would be likely to face a constitutional challenge if attempted.

Does Washington Understand the Threat Israel Faces?

My friend Steve over at Cry and Howl wrote an excellent essay that speaks volumes of truth regarding the fact that right now, Obama’s Two-State Solution Is Suicide For Israel.

Benjamin Netanyahu won re-election as Prime Minister of Israel. Despite the best efforts of Barack Obama to unseat him, Netanyahu won. We’ve witnessed the immaturity of Obama for better than six years now. When he loses or is embarrassed  he acts like a child or better yet a bully, and goes after those he feels are responsible. Mr. Netanyahu won, and that pissed Barack off, so he’s considering imposing sanctions on Israel. Obama wants to impose sanctions on Israel, while he facilitates Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear bomb and makes excuses when Iran gets caught testing advanced centrifuges.  Obama wants the Palestinians to have their own nation. How does that last sentence (in the excerpt above) hit you? To me, it’s a very chilling reminder of past egregious harm, death, and destruction imposed upon the Jewish people in Hitler’s Germany! Recall the famous phrase of “never again!” when WWII ended?  70 years later,  and Israel is STILL in danger from the radical Islamic jihadists that surround her!

What is WRONG with this current administration???  Can’t they see the danger that their reckless policies present to Israel?  I’m sorry if this offends anyone, but I see this BADministration’s policies as conscientious stupidity, surrounded by sincere ignorance which is  resulting in demonic politics!

I don’t know about readers here, but  I really doubt that 0bama has Israel’s best interests at heart. In fact, I really don’t see anything but appeasement being given towards Iran and this awful “deal” he’s trying to make with the mullahs who have nothing but contempt and  hatred for Israel!  I see “the he!! with Israel” attitude as front and center in the minds of 0bama and his ilk!

How should ANY Prime Minister of Israel – including Netanyahu’s opponent  Herzog, (if he had won the election) actually deal with the FACT that Hamas (which is controlling the Palestinian territory now) terrorists could EVER broker a true peace deal when their charter still says to “wipe Israel off the map”?  How many months ago was Hamas sending hundreds of rockets into Israel on a daily basis?  Thank God for Israel’s Iron Dome defense system!

There are several other commentators who make these very important points better than I ever could!  Please take the time to view the 7:42 video [link below] from Megyn Kelly’s show this evening where one of the best commentators on TV today – Charles Krauthammer –  spells it all out so clearly that anyone could see the truth of the matter!  Those who listen to MSNBC partisan rhetoric, or even those who may have seen (and possibly agreed with??)  CNN’s Cristiane Amanpour  who recently make the stupid claim of “racism” by Netanyahu during the election cycle;  should ALL be awakened from their progressive stupor and see that ANY Israeli leader today could not possibly negotiate with the terrorists known as Hamas in the Palestinian territory!

What a joy it was to listen to Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu at the AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) conference this morning!  It was truly a wonderful speech, and I expect that Netanyahu’s speech tomorrow in front of a joint session of Congress will be even better!

THEY BACKED ISRAEL IN  DEFENDING ITSELF IN THE WAR AND IN OUR EFFORTS TO ACHIEVE THE DURABLE PEACE WITH OUR NEIGHBORS.  WORKING TOGETHER IT’S MADE ISRAEL STRONGER AND WORKING TOGETHER MADE OUR ALLIANCE STRONGER.

According to the Revolutionary Guards leader, Iran has rockets that can reach the heart of Tel Aviv within six or seven minutes, “even before the rockets of the Zionists reach us.”

The threat, coming as it does during Iran’s efforts to increase its nuclear output capability by 19-fold and feasibly obtain the ability to equip nuclear warheads on the rockets Al-Nour claims the country possesses, gives extra urgency to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s warnings against a bad nuclear deal.

Netanyahu is posed to address the US Congress on March 3 about the Iranian nuclear problem in a speech that has raised uproar among the left in Israel and the US, given its proximity to March 17 Knesset elections.

The speech is meant to warn against leaving Iran with nuclear capabilities as talks between world powers and Iran approach a March 31 deadline, with Netanyahu warning the deal in its current formation would leave Iran a nuclear threshold state, and a state which has threatened to destroy Israel as Al-Nour reiterated on Saturday.

I THINK THAT ENCAPSULATES THE DIFFERENCE.  I’VE BEEN PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL FOR NINE YEARS.  THERE’S NOT A SINGLE DAY, NOT ONE DAY THAT I DIDN’T THINK ABOUT THE SURVIVAL OF MY COUNTRY AND THE ACTIONS THAT I TAKE TO ENSURE THAT SURVIVAL, NOT ONE DAY.

[APPLAUSE]

AND BECAUSE OF THESE DIFFERENCES, AMERICA AND ISRAEL HAVE HAD SOME SERIOUS DISAGREEMENTS OVER THE COURSE OF OUR NEARLY 70 YEAR OLD FRIENDSHIP.  IT STARTED  AT THE BEGINNING.  IN 1948, SECRETARY OF STATE GEORGE MARSHALL OPPOSED THE INTENTION TO DECLARE STATEHOOD. HE VEHEMENTLY OPPOSED IT.  BUT SEN GURION, UNDERSTANDING WHAT WAS AT STAKE, HE WENT AHEAD AND DECLARED THE INDEPENDENCE.

IN 1967, AS AN ARAB NOOSE WAS TIGHTENING AROUND [OUR NECK], THE UNITED STATES WARNED THE PRIME MINISTER THAT IF ISRAEL ACTED ALONE, IT WOULD BE ALONE.  BUT ISRAEL DID ACT – ACTED ALONE TO DEFEND ITSELF.

IN 1981, UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE PRIME MINISTER MENACHIM BEGIN, ISRAEL DESTROYED [AN IRAQI] NUCLEAR REACTOR.

[APPLAUSE]

THE UNITED STATES CRITICIZED ISRAEL AND SUSPENDED ARMS TRANSFERS FOR THREE MONTHS.

AND IN 2002, AFTER THE WORST WAVE OF ATTACKS IN HISTORY, THE PRIME MINISTER  ARIEL SHARON LAUNCHED]AN OPERATION IN THE DEFENSE AND THE UNITED STATES DEMANDED THAT ISRAEL WITHDRAW ITS TROOPS IMMEDIATELY.  BUT SHARON CONTINUED UNTIL THE OPERATION WAS COMPLETE.

[APPLAUSE]

THERE’S A REASON I MENTION ALL OF THESE. I MENTION THEM TO MAKE A POINT.  DESPITE THE OCCASIONAL DISAGREEMENTS, THE FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN AMERICA AND ISRAEL GREW STRONGER AND STRONGER, DECADE AFTER DECADE.

AND OUR FRIENDSHIP WILL WEATHER THE CURRENT DISAGREEMENTS TO GROW EVEN STRONGER IN THE FUTURE.

AND I WILL TELL YOU WHY.  BECAUSE WE SHARE THE SAME DREAMS. BECAUSE WE PRAY AND HOPE AND ASPIRE FOR THAT SAME BETTER WORLD, BECAUSE THE VALUES THAT UNITE US ARE MUCH STRONGER THAN THE DIFFERENCES THAT DIVIDE US.

VALUES LIKE LIBERTY, EQUALITY, JUSTICE, TOLERANCE, COMPASSION.  AS OUR REGION DESCENDS INTO MEDIEVAL BARBARISM, ISRAEL IS THE ONE THAT UPHOLDS THESE VALUES COMMON TO US AND TO YOU.

AS THEY DROP BOMBS ON THEIR OWN PEOPLE, THE ISRAELI DOCTORS TREAT VICTIMS IN HOSPITALS RIGHT ACROSS THE FENCE IN THE GOLAN HEIGHTS.

AS CHRISTIANS IN THE MIDDLE EAST ARE BEHEADED AND THEIR ANCIENT COMMUNITIES ARE DECIMATED, ISRAEL’S CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY IS GROWING AND THRIVING – THE  ONLY ONE SUCH COMMUNITY IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

AS WOMEN  IN THE REGION ARE OPPRESSED, ENSLAVED AND RAPED,  THE WOMEN IN ISRAEL SERVE AS CHIEF JUSTICES,  AS SEA FIGHTER PILOTS, [AND WE HAVE HAD] TWO WOMEN CHIEF JUSTICES IN SECESSION.  THAT’S PRETTY GOOD.  IN THE DARK, SAVAGED AND DESPERATE MIDDLE EAST, ISRAEL IS A BEACON OF HUMANITY OF LIFE AND OF  HOPE.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, ISRAEL AND THE UNITED STATES WILL CONTINUE TO STAND TOGETHER, BECAUSE AMERICA AND ISRAEL ARE MORE THAN FRIENDS.  WE ARE LIKE A FAMILY.  NOW DISAGREEMENTS IN THE FAMILY ARE ALWAYS UNCOMFORTABLE.  BUT WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT WE ARE FAMILY!

Spiritual Apostasy Leads to Moral Awfulness and Political Anarchy

As a Christian, do you feel that this particular generation is highly deceived and living in an era of spiritual apostasy?

I certainly do!

People are so upset and angry; feeling like there is nothing that they can do to stem the tide of moral awfulness and political anarchy happening today.  It is so disheartening that many are blinded by evil and just refuse to see what is coming.

We are told ahead of time that the falling away (apostasy) will happen the closer we get to the end times.  It helps to know this, because then we can still be secure in Jesus Christ no matter what happens.

As Christians, we were once lost, confused, unclear, perplexed, disoriented, and bewildered.  But now, we have the Gospel of Christ to share with those who are still searching for truth in an age of lies.

It is like the path to salvation.  First, we must face the “bad” – which is the fact of our sin.  Then we must repent, and turn back to the LORD GOD through His Son, Jesus Christ.  That is the GOOD NEWS that we can rest in despite all the turmoil going on in the world.

In facing what is happening today – scary as they are – (the spiritual apostasy, moral awfulness, and political anarchy going on all around us) we still have access to the solution.  There is hope!  The real kind of hope that we get from God’s Word!

One of the greatest realizations in Christian faith,  commentary, and apologetics is the fact that a Bible teacher, writer, and commentator who once shared Thru the Bible Radio broadcasts forty years ago, turns out to share content that is even more true and relevant today.

J. Vernon McGee was such a writer.  That is why I was excited to find one of his books entitled “Thru the Bible Commentary Series:  The Prophets – Isaiah Chapters 1-35” in a used book store.  I have often quoted the prophecies of Isaiah [e.g. Isaiah 53] regarding the coming of the Messiah – Jesus Christ – but I instinctively knew that there was so much more to glean from Isaiah’s writings.

Today, I will share a few pages of Bible verses along with J. Vernon McGee’s commentary about them.  Perhaps you will notice how very relevant the grace and praise, as well as the admonitions and warnings which were given in Scripture regarding Israel in Isaiah’s day, also apply towards America and should be heeded by us. Dr. McGee shared the ultimate Solution for us to avoid captivity; and to once again be restored, blessed and preserved as a nation.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters:  they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward [Isaiah 1:4]

[Israel] is described as “a people laden with iniquity.”  This phrase throws a world of light upon the personal invitation that the Lord Jesus Gave in the New Testament.  He said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”  [Matthew 11:28].  Now we know what He meant –“laden with iniquity.”  The people of Israel were laden with sin.  Today His invitation goes out to those who are laden with sin to bring that burden and load to Him and find rest, the rest of redemption.

In this verse God spells out Israel’s condition.  They are backslidden, they have turned away from God, and they are a people laden with iniquity.  Now He is going to spell out in detail the charge that He has made against them.

This brings to mind the philosophy of human government upon which God operates.  This system is presented to us in the Book of Judges, and you see this cycle of the history of human government working itself out in the nation.  In the Book of Judges we saw Israel serving God, being blessed of God, and prospering.  They began, in their prosperity, to turn away from God, and they finally turned to idolatry.  They were in rebellion against God; in fact, they forgot Him.  Then God delivered them into the hands of the enemy.

Doesn’t it seem like we are being delivered into the hands of the enemy today?

Continuing:

In a short time they began to cry out to God for deliverance. When they turned to God, He delivered them from their enemies and put them back in the place of blessing. This picture follows all the way through Scripture, and history corroborates the fact that there are three steps in the downfall of any nation. There is religious apostasy, then moral awfulness, and finally political anarchy. Many people don’t pay any attention to the cycle until the stage of political anarchy is reached, then they cry out that the government should be changed and a new system adopted. Well, the problem is not in the government. The problem with Jerusalem was not in the palace, but the problem was within the temple. The trouble begins when there is spiritual apostasy.

These three things listed – starting with spiritual apostasy – are why America is now also suffering under moral awfulness and political anarchy!

Dr. McGee:

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:  though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; through they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isaiah 1:18).

God is saying to Judah, “Do not force Me to render sentence. Settle your case out of court.” In Matthew 5:25 the Lord Jesus said, “Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him…” –don’t wait until he takes you to court. God says that He has a secret formula, a divine alchemy, a potent prescription, a powerful potion, a heavenly elixir that will take out sin. It is not a secret formula like the newest bomb, but it is more potent. You will find it in Isaiah 53 as the One who was more marred, who suffered more, who died differently, who was wounded for our transgressions. Because He paid the penalty, the Judge is able now to extend mercy to us. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, keeps on cleansing from all sin.

This is God’s charge against His people, and this is the basis on which they may turn to Him. If they will turn to Him, He will preserve the nation–He will give them almost one hundred years–then if they don’t turn to Him and change their ways, He will send them into captivity.

We see an application of this to our own country. In my beloved country I see political anarchy. It is obvious to most of us that men cannot solve the problems of this nation, and certainly not of the world.

The historian, Gibbon, gives five reasons for the decline of the Roman Empire in his book, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.  As the first step towards decline, he lists the undermining of the dignity and the sanctity of the home, which is the basis of human society.  The second step includes higher and higher taxes and the spending of public money for free bread and circuses for the populace.  The third was the mad craze for pleasure and sports becoming every year more exciting, more brutal, and more immoral.  The fourth step was the building of great armaments when the real enemy was within:  the decay of individual responsibility.  The fifth was the decay of religion, fading into mere form, losing touch with life, and losing power to guide the people.

You see, a nation’s decline begins with spiritual apostasy, which is followed by moral awfulness, and results in political anarchy.

Is there spiritual apostasy in this land of ours?  Every informed Christian is aware that modernism [Christine adds the new term of “progressivism” which is even worse!] has taken over most of the great denominations of America today; and, in this dire day, modernism, by its own confession, has failed.  Dr. Reinhold Niebuhr, one of the mouthpieces of liberalism, is quoted as saying that liberal Protestantism has been inclined to sacrifice every characteristic Christian insight if only it could thereby prove itself intellectually respectable, but that liberalism finds itself unable to cope with the tragic experiences of our day.

[America’s] problem is the same today; it is a spiritual problem.

Let’s stop there for a moment. I could easily insert links of articles and blog posts that cover many of the points that Dr. McGee was making within his commentary above. I would like to invite readers here to share any links that they think would apply in the comment section, and I will add them into the commentary. Some of my own will be forthcoming, as well.

Dr. McGee continues:

There is a way out for America, and there is a way out for you and for me. Someone has stated it this way:

Philosophy says: Think your way out.
Indulgence says: Drink your way out.
Politics says: Spend your way out.
Science says: Invent your way out.
Industry says: Work your way out.
Communism says: Strike your way out.
Fascism says: Bluff your way out.
Militarism says: Fight your way out.
The Bible says: Pray your way out, but
Jesus Christ says: “I am the way (out)…”

After the Lord brings His charges against Judah and offers them salvation and a way out of their trouble, He continues gently with a warning.

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it [Isaiah 1:19-20].

The government of God and the grace of God are two aspects emphasized in the Book of Isaiah. During the remainder of chapter 1 God is attempting to move Judah back to Himself. He is giving the people a warning.

Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

And I will restore they judges as at the first, and they counselors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The sity of righteousness, the faithful city [Isaiah 1:24-26].

Judah’s destiny depends upon the people’s response to God’s offer of forgiving grace. If they are willing to turn from their sin and obey God, He will bestow His favor upon them materially and spiritually and protect them from their enemies.

Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen [Isaiah 1:27-29].

I had to catch my breath after reading those verses and the next sentence that explained what the “oaks” and the “gardens” meant…that they had chosen!

Dr. McGee:

This has to do with idolatry because the idols were placed under the oak tress, and a garden was planted around them.

For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.

And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them [Isaiah 1:30-31].

Wow!  Powerful insight here in the book of Isaiah!  Such verses can be applied during the time of Isaiah, and also during our current era!

Dr. McGee:

God has been misrepresented in the sense that He has been pictured as losing His temper and breaking forth in judgment.  That is never a true picture of God.  The fact is that our sin is like a wick, and when we play with the spark of sin, the fire will follow.  “Be not deceived; God is not mocked:  for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” [Galatians 6:7]

Here’s The Reason Valerie Jarrett Is Scared Of Benjamin Netanyahu

Have you been hearing that many Democrats, including VP Joe Biden, have planned to not attend the speech in front of the joint session of Congress that will be given by Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu in March?  Are you wondering why they don’t want to attend and hear what Netanyahu has to say?

Western Journalism explains the reason why the WH [and, especially, Valerie Jarrett – “Obama’s Rasputin”] is so scared of what Benjamin Netanyahu will share with Congress and the American People.

Excerpt:

Now, the Jerusalem Post is reporting that the Obama administration has already given Iran eighty percent of what it has demanded in the negotiations.  The “deal” to be reached will leave Iran within months of going nuclear if they decide to move forward. All of the centrifuges will remain under their control.

This “deal” is not a deal, but an appeasement.

The Post reports: “Jerusalem officials appear alarmed at the prospect that the United States will soon strike a deal with the Iranian regime that will leave it with a ‘breakout capacity’ of months during which it can gallop toward a nuclear bomb.”  

This is what Valerie Jarrett is so scared of–that her secret deals with Iran to allow them to go nuclear will become public knowledge. She is scared Netanyahu will tell Congress and the American people what is really going on. We can’t have that, can we?

Why else would the White House be so scared that one of our closest and reliable allies is speaking to a co-equal branch of government?

What is beyond scary is the fact that Obama is doing so many horrible things and committing acts of treason against the US and creating so many problems world wide that will lead us into WWIII and all the rest of our government has not stopped him and so what does that tell us about the rest of our government ?

Frank Giustiniani you hit the nail on the head. The fact that congress hasn’t done anything to stop Obama, jarret and soros tells us exactly who is in charge. Boehner has already stated that there will be no impeachment for Obama in the next two years. That in itself tells us they are on obama’s side. Obama has done enough treasonous actions to have been convicted of treason many times over, yet congress does nothing to him. It shows George Soros is actually in charge to destroy America and Jarret gets her orders from him and then runs the puppet Obama around like a dog. They are out to convert America to a muslim nation and congress doesn’t even attempt to stop them. I believe it will take a revolution to stop this conversion. I just wish our military would uphold their oath to defend the constitution against this domestic enemy, Obama, holder, jarret and soros. Also, I sure hope they don’t approve of this traitor lynch as well for Ag, but I know it is just a formality before she is sworn in. That also shows congress has no balls. Lynch has openly stated she will go against the constitution to help Obama to his evil illegal work.

Even though that commenter above is worried that Congress won’t do anything to stop these treasonous actions, I’m still holding out some hope that this move by Boehner will allow the truth to come out to the American people as well as people all around the world!

Remember, the network news outlets (and even some cable stations) like to block out negative press about pResident Zero and his ilk. However, the networks will be forced to cover this speech because it will be a world-wide news event!

In a final note here, I wanted to state something that I believed from the start when Zero was placed into office by deception, hiding his past and his records, and the blatant voter fraud (especially in 2012) that ushered in the most corrupt administration in U.S. history.    I think that God had appointed Prime Minister Netanyahu to be the leader in Israel during Obama’s wretched and treasonous pro-Marxist/Islamic wanna-be dictatorship years in order to help keep America, as well as Israel, from total destruction via Iran finally getting a nuclear bomb.  God is still holding onto both of our nations; despite the terrible and horrible influences of these evil traitors who currently occupy The People’s House in Washington D.C.

I continue to pray that we will get through this awful time in our nation’s history and  gain a God-fearing, conservative, sensible, and pro-patriotic American leader who will help America to be restored, once again, through adherence to the wisdom, knowledge, and morality of God’s Word.  May Christ’s  mercy, grace and love continue to sustain us.  Amen.
