Too Smart — Too Sophisticated to Believe in God?

The following post over at American Thinker starts off discussing the suicide of Anthony Bourdain, and shares a pertinent Bible verse.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36) Bourdain was famous, and worth $16 million.

Kate Spade’s suicide happened shortly afterwards.  What would bring millionaires like this to such despair that they would take their own lives?

We found out that Robin Williams killed himself because of a disease he had and he didn’t want to be a burden to his family.

I’m no expert on why people commit suicide, but apparently there could be many reasons why people, unfortunately, follow through on it.

But this post isn’t only about that tragic state of affairs.  The next paragraph in Mr. Marcus’ post is the main reason I wanted to share it here.

Folks, we live is such an evil time that merely suggesting that people are better off with God in their lives is venomously attacked and branded fanatical religious hate speech. But I am going to go there anyway.

Have you noticed that oftentimes, evangelical Christians are being blamed on news programs for the election of Donald J. Trump?  Never mind those 30% (a diverse crowd, by the way) who had voted for Obama in the two previous presidential elections, but decided to vote for Trump over Clinton in 2016!

Below is the rest of Mr. Marcus’ essay.   His brilliant essay included many of the thoughts and conclusions that I have come to believe regarding the hatred being spewed here in America ever since the election of 2016.

 

Mr. Bourdain, and I suspect Ms. Spade, were leftists. Typically, leftists think themselves too smart -– too sophisticated to believe in God. Remember the closed-door fundraising event at which Obama demeaned fly-over-country voters for clinging to their guns and religion?

On the Christian-hating “View” TV show, Joy Behar called Vice President Pence “mentally ill” for saying he talks to Jesus. Historian David Barton documents how America was founded upon our Founders praying and receiving guidance from God.

In 1798, founding father John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.” Today, Christian politicians are branded “dangerous” by leftist-dominated mainstream media.

The Democrat party hijacked by leftists removed God from their platform. When Democrats voted God back into their platform the convention floor erupted with angry boos. Can you imagine a political party so wicked that they boo God?

Leftists laugh at Christians. Leftists erroneously believe man is the ultimate power, capable of regulating equal outcomes. They foolishly believe man can save or destroy the planet. Michael Crichton brilliantly articulates leftist folly in his novel Jurassic Park. Believing themselves to be wiser than God, leftists always fight to change God’s original intent regarding biology, marriage, and gender.

This scripture nails the leftist mindset. “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” (Romans 1:22) Folks, we witness their foolishness every day. They say that if a man awakes feeling like a woman that day, he should be legally permitted to use public women restrooms. They say that teachers addressing students as boys and girls is hateful and exclusive and must not be tolerated. They say four-year-olds must be introduced to homosexuality and taught “gay love is beautiful”.

For eight years Obama forced anti-God extreme liberal foolishness down the throats of mainstream commonsense thinking Americans. Thank God Trump is rolling back Obama’s war on Christianity, restoring our constitutional religious liberty.

Obama was the left’s dream president. He aggressively stripped the God of Christianity from our government. Obama chastised Christians at the National Prayer Breakfast. He relentlessly tried to bully the one-hundred-year-old Little Sisters of the Poor into funding abortion services, an anathema against their religious convictions. Obama enthusiastically honored homosexuals, Black Lives Matter, and Muslims with celebrations at the White House while turning away the National Day of Prayer. Obama was the most biblically-hostile president in U.S. history.

Disney’s movie, A Wrinkle in Time, starring Oprah Winfrey struggled at the box office. Perhaps the reason is leftist producers stripped Bible quotes, a reference to Jesus and historical Christian figures from the movie adaptation of the beloved children’s book.

While threatening to jail anyone disrespectful of Islam, leftists boldly display disdain for Christianity. They hate Jesus for saying, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

How dare Jesus declare himself the only way to heaven. Liberal media goddess Oprah has decreed that Jesus is not the only way to God. Oprah foolishly professes herself to be wise, too enlightened to believe Jesus Christ is the only path to God.

The gangster movie Scarface has a strong biblical message. Drug lord Tony Montana had everything he thought would bring him happiness; power, a mountain of cocaine, extreme wealth, and beautiful women at his command. And yet, Tony was miserable. All Tony’s stuff could not fill that spiritual void inside which produces peace, happiness, and a fulfilled life.

Sadly, Mr. Bourdain’s and Ms. Spade’s extreme wealth, power, and fame failed to produce inner peace and happiness. Both are unfortunate casualties of leftist mindsets, too smart and too sophisticated to humbly trust in the God of Christianity.

Personal story.

A few days ago, I got into a conversation with someone with whom I have known for a long time.  She appeared to be conservative, and has claimed that she is a Christian.  Some tough situations within her family life had caused great pain and sorrow.  During our subsequent discussions, she rarely mentioned anything about her faith anymore.

I have been trying to avoid getting into left vs. right arguments with people who dislike President Trump.  However, in this case I realized that this particular woman did not know basic facts about the last election or the vitriol that followed and has been ratcheted up over the last 20 months.

She objected to Trump winning, despite the popular vote that Hillary ended up with on election day.  I explained to her why the Founders decided to utilize the Electoral College method when electing the president.  She truly did not understand it until I had explained it.

During our conversation, she indicated that she personally dislikes Trump.  I agreed that he isn’t the typical, smooth politician and that he has said some regrettable things.  However, despite his personal failings,  I shared several of the many accomplishments of his administration and she agreed that he is doing a good job of turning this nation around.

I mention this because of the above article written by Lloyd Marcus.  People, Mr. Marcus completely NAILED IT in regards to the void of proper discussions going on today.  Instead, it’s only hatred, meanness, derision, mocking, threatening, and dangerous vitriol that is constantly being spewed by radical leftists.  Many, apparently, cannot even fathom having a decent conversation with those on the right or those who support President Trump.

Obama was their “prized” president.  He espoused most of everything on the leftist side of the political spectrum that they believe in.  But, even when he didn’t like some of the policies that came about, they forgave him (or ignored the issue) because of their love and agreement of this man’s political ideology.  They had the mentality that Obama “could do nothing wrong” and the media of mass deception kept that image alive by oftentimes not reporting the truth.

Now, because President Trump is mostly the complete opposite of Obama, the leftists have, and continue to be, losing their collective minds.  The media and celebrity negative rancor dominates 95% of the news broadcasts; oftentimes completely ignoring all of the great accomplishments that President Trump has done for our nation, economy, and people.

It’s truly sad that so many people do not allow those with opposing views a voice on news programs.  They ignore the other side in their conversations.  More distressing, is that when they report, they can’t seem to do it without being hostile, nasty or even downright hate-filled and dangerous!

God heard our prayers in 2016 and in His Sovereignty, guided Donald J. Trump to run for the Republican nomination, and then win the Presidency! Thank you, Lord Jesus!

I continue to pray that the Deep State swamp is finally exposed (and drained!) for all the American people to see; and for those who are involved in such evil – that they get arrested, tried, prosecuted and put in jail for their egregious crimes!

If you have any relatives or friends who are (unfortunately) watching the fake news media of mass deception stations (I know people who are continually being fooled by the liars in media, and it’s tough to convince them of the propaganda being spewed daily), show this essay to them so that they can be much more informed about what has been going on and why so many fake news proponents on TV who are on the liberal- leftist side of politics (and, are obviously still bitter about HiLIARy losing the election!) tried so hard to push a false narrative in order to destroy President Trump’s election and his positive, America First agenda for the American people!

Why Is That?

If you are a Christian conservative, you might be asking the question, “Why Is That?” regarding the great divide that has happened during and after this contentious election of 2016. The liberal lunatic policies over the past 8 years under the 0bama BADministration has brain-dirtied many groups of people, especially many of the self-named  “coddled childish” Millennials. Those that “came of age” during that time most likely don’t even know about correct history because of the liberal leftist lies that have been drilled into their brains.

Why Is That?

Well, by the end of this post I’m going to make a simple, but hopefully accurate, attempt to answer that question.

Fellowship of the Minds reports: “Hillary Uses Jill Stein to Steal Election Via Voter Recounts in Battleground States.

Jill Stein made her intentions known on her Facebook page around 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 23. By this afternoon (Nov. 26), Stein has raised more than $5.8 million, with the goal now upped to $7 million. See for yourself at Jill2016.

In other words, in just 3 days Stein raised $5.8 million, all by crowd funding! The same Jill Stein who was the only candidate on the November ballot to rely on public money — four federal payments totaling $456,000 under the Presidential Election Campaign Fund — for her own failed presidential campaign.

So who are these millions of Americans who are donating to Stein’s vote recount war chest?

As in robots. Machines. Not real people.

How do we know this?

Because the donations came in and are still coming in in REGULAR intervals — even at 3 a.m. when most Americans are asleep.

Yesterday, the Wisconsin Elections Commission said it had received Stein’s petition for a recount.

WND: Fight Over Gay Wedding Cake Given New Life

Now, this news report discusses a case in Northern Ireland. However, the same religious discrimination problems have come up here in the United States.

Excerpt:

The infamous Northern Ireland case penalizing a family baking company for refusing to promote “gay” marriage with a wedding cake may have a new life.

WND reported earlier when an appeals court in Belfast refused to offer relief from the penalties for Ashers Bakery in Northern Ireland for violating that nation’s nondiscrimination laws.

And it was reported that the owners were considering taking their fight to the European Court of Human Rights.

But now, according to the Belfast Telegraph, a door has opened.

Senior judges in Belfast say that a section of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 may give the McArther family, which owns Ashers Bakery, a path to the Supreme Court.

“You need to make a decision whether you wish to pursue it,” Judge Declan Morgan told lawyers for the family this week.

David Scoffield QC, for the McArthurs, told the court: “We are happy to look at that and confirm our submissions in writing.”

The Court of Appeal last month affirmed a fine for Ashers for discriminating against Gareth Lee by refusing to make a cake for a “gay” wedding.

The bakers said they didn’t care about, or even know about, his sexual choices, but the message was what their Christian faith would not allow them to promote.

Last year a Belfast County Court ruled the bakery discriminated against Lee on grounds of sexual orientation and religious belief or political opinion. The firm was also ordered to pay £500 compensation.

The family’s representatives explained the rejection of the cake order was solely because of the message that violated their faith – it had nothing to do with Lee himself.

John Larkin, Northern Ireland’s attorney general, backed the McArthurs. He said they should not be forced to endorse a message with which they disagree.

Officials with the Christian Institute, which took part in the fight on behalf of the family, have reported that Larkin also has the option of seeking higher court review, but that was on hold pending the family’s decision.

Simon Calvert, of the Institute, said the family’s representatives had asked the Court of Appeal whether there was any further appeal route available.

I had once seen a video on my computer of a gay person who wanted to order a cake, with a gay inscription, at a muslim bakery.  The owner had directed him to a different bakery but was not prosecuted for it.  There is nothing fair about globalism and they lean in favor of Islam, as many of us have already witnessed!

The reason for this is Christianity threatens globalism because it puts God first, family second and the state third.  That undermines them.  The reason globalists not only “tolerate” Muslims but in fact encourage them, is the globalists see Islam kinder spirit and global government is using Islam to destroy Christianity.  The globalist adhere to the tenant “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” and so embrace Islam (for now).

Also you can see how they have tried to associate radical Islam with all religions.  It didn’t work, in fact it back-fired, but that was the plan.

I watched the video hours ago, but if I recall correctly didn’t the woman who introduced Hillary claim that she has known her for 45 years? Does that mean that she only knows the public image (and obviously fake image) or does she also know all about the crime family side of the Clintons?

That is an excellent point JoD! Why did Jesse Jackson need to get behind a podium and say that 0bummer should pardon her…if she didn’t do anything wrong? Answer: They KNOW about all of her criminal activity (some of which has been exposed online but not all of it by the media of mass deception) and they are all probably scared that once Trump gets into office, she will be prosecuted.

The fruit is evidence of who she follows and those that follow her indicate they are not His.

The FACT that Hillary Clinton’s hatred towards God was very evident when a woman at an event had to stumble over the words “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance and then ended up eliminating it from the Pledge that day, tells us where Hillary stands regarding God.

So true Phil aka Felipe! Her hatred of Christians has been very evident for most of her life. She labeled us as being in a “basket of deplorables.” The term “deplorable” is an adjective, not a noun!

She is a deplorable person! Her attitude during her entire life has obviously rejected the saving power and grace of Jesus Christ our Lord. And, she hates those who are born again in Christ and follow Him.
She is part of “the world.”

There are those who will forever refuse the redemption offered by Christ. All we can do is continue to share the Gospel. Those who reject it, we have to be willing to “shake the dust from our sandals” and say, “so be it.”

Now that Donald Trump is our President-Elect and Mike Pence is our Vice-President Elect, we need to keep them and their families covered in prayer.  We need to pray for those chosen to be in his Cabinet and all who will be given positions in our federal government.  We need to pray that the Supreme Court justices chosen will uphold our U.S. Constitution (especially freedom of religion, freedom of speech, life, liberty, association, and the pursuit of happiness for all – even those babies in the womb) and make decisions accordingly.  Prayers for protection, prayers for them to keep their campaign promises to We The People, and prayers that their solutions to the problems here at home and around the world will be successful.

What Matters Most on This Election Day, 2016?

One of my first thoughts upon awakening this morning was, “thank God this election season will soon be over!”  In a previous post, I included the following graphic:

I thought it was funny and very apropos for how so many people are feeling after this long, crazy, and vitriolic campaign season!

Secondly, after lifting up prayer to Jesus I was given the thought, “what matters most on this election day?”

People are SO anxious, afraid, sleepless, grief-filled, concerned, and worried about who will win. I can’t say that I blame them, because there is a LOT at stake. The direction that our nation will go depending on who “wins” will be like night and day! There are many good reasons to be highly concerned because the candidates and their party platforms are polar opposites.

There is a battle going on in this nation, and it involves good vs. evil. There are mini battles going on too, especially in regards to Christians and their choice for president.

I now present just one example.

In the comment thread of a former post, a commenter seemed bothered by the fact that certain prominent Christians differ over whether or not to vote for Donald Trump.   It seemed to me that the commenter was pushing the idea onto me that James Dobson is correct to warn others against voting for Trump.

My reply:

No need for them to “fight it out.” Both men are born-again Christians, so whether or not one or both are wrong about either candidate does not ultimately affect their salvation. THAT is what is significant, not your opinion or feigned consternation about their voting choice.

We are all sinners. There are none righteous – no not one. We are saved by grace through faith through the shed blood of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. His resurrection to life proves who He is and we can rest in His promises.

Elections come and go. Presidents are elected, then after 4 or 8 years, leave office.

This Billy Graham quote applies more now than when he first said it back on New Year’s Eve, 1975:

I believe that every problem facing us as Americans is basically a spiritual problem. Crime is a spiritual problem. Inflation is a spiritual problem. Corruption is a spiritual problem. Social injustice is a spiritual problem. The lack of will even to defend our freedoms is a spiritual problem.

The damage done by those in positions of power who do not adhere to the commandments of God are egregious and damaging to our people, the nation, and the world.

However, God is still on His throne in heaven and we know where all of this is going.

The good is always there.

The bad and the ugly are in existence for a time, but one day, evil will be swept away.

Galatians (see Galatians 5:16-5:21 below)* tells us how damaging the “lusts of the flesh” are to our souls.  We are told in many places within Scripture of this fact, and it is why Christians, through the power of the Holy Spirit indwelling us, can endure the longsuffering (see Galatians 5:22-5:25 below)** going on in this world.

Why?

Because it isn’t our final home.  We are told in many places within Scripture of this. Many of the most significant Bible verses are those stated by  Jesus, Himself.

Jhn 16:33

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will[fn] have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Jhn 14:2

“In My Father’s house are many mansions;[fn] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[fn]

Jhn 14:3

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

What this means most of all (e.g. “He has overcome the world”) is that His ultimate plans will not be thwarted; even though the evil ones think they can oppose God’s ultimate purposes.

Despite the evil intent of the God haters, they are (unbeknownst to them) being used to achieve more believers in Christ!

The Gospel continues on, being preached throughout the earth and Christian believers will ultimately be with Jesus in eternity. What goes on here on this earth is insignificant compared to where each of us will spend eternity. Even more important is Who we will be with! Jesus Christ!

Theory: Why Hillary Can’t Think – What If It’s Medical?

That is a question that I think every voter needs to ask, research, understand,  and determine for themselves before voting on November 8, 2016.

When I find something that I want to report via another blog’s comment section, I need to learn to get on it right away;  especially when the comment section balloons to over 1,100 comments!  Makes it time consuming to locate it later.

Even though part of my purpose here is to discuss something that I originally found very disturbing and serious regarding Hillary Clinton, I ran across this humorous political cartoon.

It was too funny to pass up!

Sometimes we all need a break from the seriousness surrounding this election!  We still need to be able to laugh!

Now on to my original intention with this post.

Ah!  Finally found it!  It was in a comment thread over at The Last Refuge blog.  Over 1,145 comments so far!

Before I share the information, I want to tell readers about a phone conversation that I had yesterday with my 92-years-young mother.  She is, and has been, a lifelong Democrat.   (She has her health problems, but I’m so grateful to God that He has given her this long life.)

As a child I was happy attending the Democratic picnics in the N.J. town where I grew up.  I remember the joy and elation my parents felt when John F. Kennedy, being the Democratic nominee in the 1960 Election, won the election. I was in first grade and only six years old at the time.  Granted, we all know that JFK wasn’t a perfect man (none of us are!).  However, his ideology and what he stood for in life was more conducive to what most Conservative Christians still believe today…56 years later.

My dad died in 1994 at age 71. I know he would never agree with the current progressive, far-out-leftist politics of the current Democratic party.

My mom, on the other hand, takes almost everything that she watches on TV as truth. All the spin that was presented by the Hillary-backing media was enough to convince her that she should vote for Clinton to be the first woman president.

That was her attitude months and even just weeks ago.

Yesterday, she shared remorse about mailing in her ballot for Hillary. She said that what is being reported about Clinton now makes it difficult for her to know what to believe about the woman.

Months ago, I told her that I’d rather not discuss this upcoming election because I instinctively knew that we would disagree and even way back then I was a Never Hillary voter.  She droned on about how “wonderful” she thought Hillary was and I just said to her that I have seen Clinton lie constantly and could not vote for her.  At the time, I was also  a skeptic regarding Trump.  I didn’t want to argue with my elderly mom, so we stayed clear of that subject until yesterday’s discussion.

With that being said, here is a link to several videos over at YouTube where a doctor shares his expertise on why he thinks that Hillary Clinton has Parkinson’s Disease.

The final video that has been posted by a commenter over at The Last Refuge reveals much about Hillary’s bizarre behavior.

In my mind, this is the worst of the numerous cover-ups going on concerning Hillary Clinton. How so many people can think it’s OK to attempt to conceal her ailment from the public and allow her to run for president, become the nominee, and then to arrange for her to cheat at the debates, is not only desperately mean…it’s beyond comprehension!

That video above helps to explain why she looked down at her podium so often during the debates.   It is suspected that she had the answers in front of her on a small lite screen.  My husband noticed that, particularly at the third debate. It is also suspected that she had answers being fed to her via an earpiece.

What is the end game in all of this?

I think it was to have her be the next puppet “president” (like 0bama has been)  under “Dr. Evil” billionaire George Soros.  We have suffered through 8 years of nation-wide calamity and damage!  We don’t need or want such deception and evil to continue to destroy our beloved nation!

I continue to pray that God sees us through this terrible time of deceit being perpetrated against Americans and that no matter what happens on Election Day 2016, we can come through either the devastation or the joy that will ultimately result from the choice that is ultimately made on this upcoming fateful day.

This “House of Cards” Circus Election!

My husband told me last night that what we are seeing in this crazy circus of an election season is that it all resembles so much of what the Netflix series “House of Cards” portrays about government sleaziness  and corruption.

 

One commenter over at Amazon wrote that the series was about:

“A shadowy and corrupt world for power and self-advantage.”

Another commenter wrote:

“I’m as cynical as it gets when it comes to government, but the plot is just ridiculous.”

After all, it’s Hollyweird work at play so why would anyone think the plot wouldn’t be ridiculous?

Another commenter wrote:

“I liked it because of the great acting but the story is very, very dark so not for everyone.”

That comment is enough reason for me to not view the series.

It was interesting to find a blogger this morning who wrote a post that mentioned the same comparison as my husband did regarding “House of Cards.” In the past, I have never felt the desire to watch any of the episodes and do not care to view them now. However, the blogger over at “Hillbuzz” put forth some great points about the re-opening of the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails.

So, all weekend everyone has been losing their damn minds over Comey’s letter. I’ve read all of the various theories as to what’s going on and I draw the following conclusions:

1. Hillary Clinton has been caught lying, because something on Huma Abedin’s computer is so obviously confidential and not-all0wed-to-be-on-Huma’s-computer that everything Hillary said to the FBI and to Congress is obviously a lie. She will either have to admit gross incompetence or she’ll be proven to be a liar…and something on Huma’s computer will prove this.

2. Huma Abedin needs to go to prison. Do you remember Scooter Libby? So much crazy stuff happens now every day that this feels like it happened in the 1800s, but it was only just 2005 (11 years ago). I had to look up what exactly Libby went to prison for, but it is much less terrible than what Huma Abedin has clearly been up to. Libbey was charged with obstructing justice, lying to the FBI, making false statements to various people, and perjuring himself. This was all about Valerie Plame, the CIA-agent who was the wife of Ambassador Joe Wilson. Her cover was blown and the FBI investigated Libby for being involved in blowing her cover as a way for the Bush Administration to get back at Wilson for speaking out against the Administration’s war plans. The FBI came down hard on Libby and he went to jail. Why the hell isn’t Huma Abedin in handcuffs already?

3. I think James Comey, Loretta Lynch, and others involved in making the investigation go away in July need to go to prison too. So, you let Hillary off the hook when obviously something bad was going on…and it’s so bad that right before a presidential election James Comey pops up again like a whack-a-mole to reignite all of this. So why the hell wasn’t a proper investigation conducted in the first place? What corruptocrats were behind that? All of them need to go to prison. At this point, Donald Trump needs to call for the reopening of Alcatraz to hold all of these high-ranking people who deserve to go to prison.

4. I’m seeing people speculating that the FBI might be completely corrupt and untrustworthy, but that the local police in New York City are still honest and decent enough to have found an angle to bring the Clintons down. Preet Bharara needs to be looked at for the position of Comey’s replacement as FBI Director. Who better to go after everyone in the FBI who is corrupt and went along with James Comey in July? Bharara appears to have been the one who realized that something the NYPD found in Anthony Weiner’s possession contradicted everything that Comey said on July 5th.

What I think they found is something that shows “intent.” Remember how Comey made the bizarre assertion that the FBI could let the Clintons do whatever they wanted and not prosecute them because nothing showed “intent”?

Well, what if Bharara (everyone seems to call him “Preet”) discovered something on Huma’s computers that showed intent? If that was found, then Comey could not ignore it…because Comey made such a big deal about his claim that “intent” was required for prosecution (even though the law did not actually require “intent”).

What I believe happened is that the NYPD turned everything over to Bharara like they were supposed to do. Bharara is not scared of anyone and is pretty much an American hero and a new version of Elliott Ness. Bharara saw that he could easily contradict Comey and I bet he went to the FBI and said that unless they do what they are supposed to do and stop playing politics that Bharara would have his own press conference and bring the FBI down.

I must admit that I had not heard about Preet Bharara before reading Kevin Dujan’s post, so I did a search and found out what type of man he is.

Wow! The man has been actively fighting corruption for most of his career. There were only two minor controversies that he was apparently involved in listed at the Wikipedia site.

A Daily Mail article claims that he was actively investigating the Clinton Foundation.

Numerous articles can be found by doing a search. It appears to me that this man could be considered a hero for doing his job properly and exposing the corruption that needs to be brought into the light of day. It’s nice to read about such a great person,  because individuals like him appear to be so rare in the current political cesspool of corruption!

Unintended Consequences of Walking According to the Course of This World

Over the past several days, I have noticed that blog readers have landed here at Talk Wisdom after they had done a search for “rowboat with Trump.”  Several new visitors have become followers here, most likely due to that particular post.

Yesterday, Megyn Kelly (of Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File”)interviewed far leftist Michael Moore (never thought I’d EVER write his name on this blog!)  on the Fox News Channel regarding his latest documentary entitled, “Trumpland.”  [Readers can do a search for the interview and clip I’m referring to in this post.  Caution, disgusting language is used in the documentary clips.]

It’s interesting that Trump and many supporters cheered the quote that Moore made in the movie for why so many Americans are backing Trump.  However, Moore appeared blisteringly angry during the Kelly file interview that a clip of his movie was being used as a positive reason for people to actually vote for Trump.

It’s quite the juxtaposition, isn’t it?

Some might label this as unintended consequences.

Perhaps some might call it karma.

Others may say it’s kismet.

The Bible tells us what is most important in all of this!* (see below)

It appears that Moore’s “positive” comments about Trump and why his followers are voting for him may backfire on his desire to push Americans to vote for HilLIARy!  It’s like an act of God has done this…in that Moore’s additional comments after the positive comments he made about Trump and his followers may end up getting lost in the shuffle and not even heard by many voters.

The millennial generation, in particular, has a much shorter attention span and often only reads quotes via Twitter, or just the brief memes on Facebook.  If they don’t see the entire movie and only hear about (or, just read) that quote, then they may take what was only said in that pro-Trump quote clip and think that it makes total sense NOT to vote for HiLIARy, and to then cast their votes for Trump on November 8th!

Look, I don’t know for sure what kind of president Trump will be if he wins.  The unknowns about him could be cause for concern.  I truly hope and pray that he will stay committed to his promises on the campaign trail.   However, I do know for a fact that HRC would be an absolute disaster for our nation! 

All of the corruption that has been exposed about her, (i.e. the cheating of the Democrats, the dishonesty of the Clinton campaign, the criminality of the leaked emails, the quid pro quo connections between the Clinton Foundation and campaign donors,  the corruption of the FBI director, James Comey, and the now damning evidence against him that has been brought out…  etc.) that has all been exposed via Wikileaks and Project Veritas proves this fact!

No matter how much evidence of evil and corruption is released about crooked HiLIARy, there will always be people who will choose to ignore it. That’s truly sad and disturbing…to say the least!

A Christian Voter: “I believe Trump is our rowboat. Except he’s more like a battleship!”

The following essay [below] is copied from Freedom Is Just Another Word blog. It appears to have been written for email distribution.

Regular readers here know that I am a NEVER HILLARY voter, but that I also have had several concerns regarding Trump for president.  With all of the research I have done and how far the media of mass deception is “in the tank” for HiLIARy, I still feel that he would likely be light-years better than crooked Hillary. Since we only have those two main candidates to choose from in this election,  being a “hold your nose and vote for Trump” voter is far better (IMHO) than voting for corrupt, untrustworthy, and serial liar Hillary.   The more I read about her and her cohorts in crime, the more I realize that people who are voting for her are most likely one of the following types of voters.

1.  Ignorant of the Clinton crime family.
2.  Choose to ignore the evil, corruption, and lying that she has been involved in over the past 8 Obummer years, and during this election season.  Do the research and see that she is involved in over 30 years of corruption!
3.  Know about one or both of the above, and simply just do not care.
4.  Are spiritually blinded and therefore complicit in such blatant corruption.
5. [Add your own judgment of the situation!]

She should be in JAIL!!!  NOT running for president!

My conversations with Christian friends and relatives have informed me that many will vote for Trump, while just a few may vote third-party. Here in blue Dem California, it most likely wouldn’t matter how Christian conservatives vote, anyway. This state hasn’t [electorally] voted for a Republican presidential nominee since Ronald Reagan in the ’80s! I highly doubt that CA would collectively, and/or electorally, bring a state victory for Trump in the presidential election.

[On a side note, I watched a recorded program on Reagan’s presidency last night which reminded me that he won 48 states against Walter Mondale with a whopping 525 – 33 electoral vote count!]

Anyway, with that said, I present the following argument as to why HiLIARy should be summarily rejected for the presidency, and why this particular Christian voter and writer [NOTE:  no name was given on the essay] encourages others to vote for Trump.

Maybe a gentleman and “all-around nice Christian” would lead us to slaughter.

Or do you want another Mitt Romney, Bob Dole, John McCain, Gerald Ford or Paul Ryan? Did any of them win? Did they lead the GOP to “the promised land?” Did they change the direction of America? No, because if you don’t win, you have no say.

Paul Ryan couldn’t even deliver his own state, Wisconsin! And as leader of the House, Paul Ryan rolls over to Obama like my dog rolls over for a scrap of food, or a steak bone. Nice, but obedient. I mean Paul Ryan…not my dog. My dog is actually a pretty good defender and loyal.

Maybe God is knocking on your door loudly, but you’re not listening. Maybe God understands we need a “war leader” at this moment in time. Maybe God understands if we don’t win this election, America is dead. It’s over. The greatest nation in world history will be gone. Finished. Kaput. Adios.

And with one last breath, maybe what we need to save us at the last second, is someone different. Someone you haven’t ever experienced before– because you weren’t raised in rough and tumble New York where nothing good gets accomplished unless you’re combative, aggressive, outrageous, on offense at all times, and maybe just a tad arrogant too.

Someone with a personality you’ve never seen on stage at your church. Maybe, just maybe, being a nice gentlemanly Christian would not beat Hillary and her billion dollars, and her best friends in the media who will unleash the dogs of hell upon the GOP nominee.

I guess you think God is only nice and gentlemanly. Really? Then you’ve missed the whole point of the Bible. When necessary, God is a pretty tough guy. When necessary, God strikes with pain, death and destruction. When necessary, God inflicts vengeance.

Maybe you think God couldn’t possibly be associated with someone like Trump. Trump is too vicious, rude and crude. When we won WWII, was God “nice?” Were we gentlemanly when defeating Hitler? Were we gentlemanly when firebombing Germany? Were we gentlemanly when dropping atomic bombs on Japan? Is God ever “nice” on the battlefield? Or does he send us vicious SOB’s like General George S. Patton so the good guys can defeat evil?

It’s pretty clear to me God sends unique people to be “war leaders.” That’s a different role than a pastor or church leader. God understands that.

And maybe it’s time to re-define “nice.” Maybe Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan aren’t nice at all–because they led us to defeat. And losing again would mean the end of America. And God can’t allow that. Maybe Romney and Ryan mean well, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Or maybe they’re just jealous they had their chance and blew it. Maybe they’d rather help elect Hillary than allow a Trump victory that would make them look weak, feckless and incompetent.

“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (Isiah 40:30-31)

God is about miracles. We don’t need a “nice guy” or a “gentleman” right now. It’s the 4th quarter and we’re losing 14-0. We need a miracle.

So let me repeat my message to Christians: “YOU’RE MISSING THE BOAT.”

 

I believe Trump is our miracle. I believe Trump is our rowboat. Except he’s more like a battleship!

No one is saying Trump is perfect. No one is saying Trump is a perfect conservative. But he is a patriot. He is a warrior. He is a capitalist. He is the right man, at the right time. Yes, he’s a bit rude and crude and offensive. But that may make him the perfect warrior to save America, American exceptionalism, capitalism and Judeo-Christian values. The choice should be easy for Christians. It’s Trump…or it’s the end of the American dream.
