Randy Thomasson of SaveCalifornia.com recently sent me the following email on this important topic.  Here is a copy of it:

Can you imagine what life will be like if Roe v. Wade is overturned?

Hi Christine,

At my two appointments this morning at secular businesses, I was asked the obligatory question, “How are you?” And I answered, “Thankful to Jesus, and a little sad.”

When they asked why I was sad, I held up my phone and showed them that 61 million pre-born babies have been killed in 47 years of Roe v. Wade. Then we had a little talk about it, because this shocking fact made them sad too.

These sobering statistics make me hunger for the day when Roe v. Wade is overturned. What about you? And what will life be like in America if and when this unconstitutional 1973 ruling, which permitted Americans to abort their unwanted children, is overturned?

Here are 10 likely outcomes:

1. Innocent babies will be saved. If the current tally is “2,362 abortions daily and 98 abortions per hour every hour in the United States,” I believe a post-Roe nation will decrease the baby killings by at least half, but not totally eliminate them, because of Democrat-run, pro-abortion states.

2. Creator God will be pleased with America’s repenting of the bloodguilt of legalized murder. The Old Testament explains how a land is cursed when it is full of bloodguilt. So I know God can bless America again when America repents of abortion.

3. America’s pro-life ethic will be greatly strengthened. If and when a future U.S. Supreme Court strikes down Roe, it will obviously give people more confidence to think and speak that abortion is wrong. Even pro-abortion people will have to say abortion’s against the law, which will help move the pendulum even further toward majority pro-life values.

4. As respect for innocent human life increases, murders of people outside the womb will decrease. It is simply logical for a culture that believes pre-born humans have the intrinsic right to life to believe the same for people already born. Expect murder of adults to drop when murder of babies drop.

5. The need to adopt children will skyrocket. When millions of babies are put up for adoption instead of aborted, the Church needs to step up and fulfill the command to care for orphans (James 1:27). Post-Roe, this means the average Christian family will have at least one adopted child — a new new norm to embrace for the sake of love and legacy.

6. More pastors will speak out for innocent human life and against abortion. When abortion is legally called wrong, previously-afraid pastors will begin to say it’s wrong too. If they don’t, they are more cowardly than you or I thought, since opposing abortion will immediately be easier.

7. When abortion is outlawed, the economy will improve. Under most conditions, population growth improves a nation’s economy. Numerically, population growth nearly always boosts production, while lower population tends to lessen production.

8. Planned Parenthood abortionists will lose even more government money. When Roe v. Wade is finally struck down, all federal funding of abortion and abortionists will also be dismantled, legally or legislatively or both. What a moral taxpayer victory this will be!

9. Many Democrat-controlled states will go rogue. In Democrat trifecta states (where the governor, and both houses of the state legislature, are Democrat-controlled), there will likely be rebellion and increased civil disobedience to try to keep abortion clinics open and to distribute abortion pills. There are 15 Democrat-controlled states where this could happen: California, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Hawaii, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, and Virginia.

10. A pro-life president and Congress is more likely. Yes, pro-aborts will try to make the next presidential election all about abortion and the power of the president to nominate and the U.S. Senate to confirm federal judges. But the nationwide law would be solidly on the side of pro-life candidates, and pro-abortion Democrats will be more identified as lawbreakers. This will likely create a new pro-life political dynamic that will increase pro-life representation in both houses of Congress, and which could swing “Democrat” states, such as Nevada, New Mexico, and Virginia, back to pro-lifers. And if there’s a strongly pro-life president, he’ll enforce America’s new pro-life law in every state, including those with Democrat trifectas. He’ll also slash school funding unless government-run schools cease to teach children abortion is acceptable, or refer children for surgical or chemical abortions.

Please join me in hungering, praying, and working for an end to abortion in America!

While looking for this article, I went to Breitbart.com and discovered the existence of a disturbing video. It’s only animation…but when you think of a real human being dismembered in the womb in this way, it’s terribly sad, evil, shocking, and gut-wrenching!

I couldn’t help but think…ONLY one-third of pro-abortion women turn against abortion after viewing the video of the procedure?

Obviously, the other two-thirds are so blinded by their pro-death-to-babies in the womb ideology that they cannot see (or, refuse to see) the absolute evil of abortion!

The Supremacy of Christ and Your Map for Life

This post is the follow-up to my previous post entitled The Serpent’s Old Lie in an Updated Package. I suggest reading that link first.

In today’s world of “political correctness,” the title of this post would be frowned upon by those who hold to relativism – especially moral relativism. As was stated in my previous post, many people don’t like the thought of absolutes; especially when it comes to moral absolutes. They don’t like to be told what is sin and what is holy and the truth. This is one of the big reasons why Christianity, in general, and those who hold to biblical Christian faith are chastised, mocked, ridiculed, called bad names, targeted by those who don’t agree with them, and told to “just shut up and keep your religion to yourself.”

This is not new. The early churches (such as the church in Colossae) needed encouragement from the Apostle Paul, and to be assured of the preeminence of Christ. Why? Because almost immediately, those who hated and disagreed with believers in the resurrected Christ tried to squelch the spread of their faith. This is even more prevalent today! And, it’s currently a really sad state of affairs here in America.

The important thing to remember, however, is that we were told throughout Scripture that this would happen. The naysayers would attempt to belittle our faith and downplay its significance, not only here in America but around the world.  Their goal is to attack the Gospel message and those who share it.

Whenever the raging voices in the media of mass deception continue to spread lies and propaganda because they don’t like what is happening in our current government, I am reminded that administrations will come and go…but the Word of God stands forever!

In Colossians 1:9-14, Paul requests that the people “may be filled with the knowledge of His will.”

Dr. David Jeremiah’s Bible notes tell us:

The rest of the passage describes its result in the believer’s life (4:12). Knowledge alone is never enough. God’s Word must change one’s life and pattern of thinking (Romans 12:2); James 3:13), literally filling the believer’s life and motivating every area of his or her being (Phil. 1:27). Sometimes Christians fail to live by the will and Word of God because they fall prey to false teaching; others fail through neglect, neither reading the Word nor applying it.

That last paragraph describes why there are so many “Christians” who can support leftist causes (i.e. abortion, homosexual behavior and “marriage”, transgender issues, Islamism, radicalism on any and every issue, etc.) while ignoring God’s Will and His Word. The anti-Christian groups may celebrate them and their misplaced ideology, but the question remains, are they truly reconciled in Christ? To support such issues (and, often the violence that accompanies such “causes”) shows that their Christian walk is off, their work is misplaced, their wisdom  has not come from God, and probably their worship is misplaced as well.

Here’s one example.  When I see how committed and virulent abortion advocates are to their “cause” it’s unbelievable to me!  How can anyone justify killing a baby in a mother’s womb?  Yet, there are women and men who claim to be “Christians” who place the “woman’s right to choose” above the life of that innocent baby in the womb.  It’s unconscionable to me!  How could anyone be so hard-hearted?  What’s more, their attitude towards those who hold to the pro-life position is absolutely poisonous!  They are intensely bitter, violently hostile, and malicious in their verbal attacks against Christians who believe that life begins at the moment of conception.

Why are they like that?

I think that it has to do with fear.  The fear that this so-called “right” will one day be taken away.  It’s also a huge money-making deal for those in the industry, so the fear of losing millions of dollars must have a lot to do with it, too.  To them, it’s a “business” and they must not be in the least mindful of the killing of a human being in the womb.

Dr. Jeremiah writes in his Colossians 1:9,10 Bible notes:

The will of God and the wisdom of God are inseparably linked with saturation in the Word of God (Psalms 1:1, 2).  Godly wisdom is gained by studying His Word, spiritual understanding is how his children discern His will.  Both wisdom and understanding are gifts of the Spirit (spiritual); they do not come from a unspiritual or “fleshly” mind (2:18).  Such spiritual knowledge provides insight into God’s will.  However, no one can anticipate the will of a stranger.  Christians who long to discern the will of God discover it in their growing knowledge of who God is and what He wants (Ephesians 5:17; 2 Peter 3:18).

So, being unspiritual and fleshly in the mind can lead a person to think nothing of killing a baby in the womb; not to mention making money off of the horrible procedure.

The abortion issue is just one example of the unspiritual and fleshly minds of those who have not been truly born again in Jesus Christ.

Just for the record, the sin of abortion can be forgiven just like any other sin, at the foot of the Cross of Christ.

Norma McCorvey (the plaintiff in Roe vs. Wade trial that disastrously legalized abortion in all 50 states in 1973) had a tragic life as she got caught up in the culture wars.  But she died in Christ through conversion from her past sins into salvation in the Lord Jesus.  She was an example (extreme one, to say the least!)  of persevering in stress, despite so many haters clamoring around her because of her conversion to pro-life beliefs through her conversion to Jesus Christ.

Dr. Jeremiah writes:

When believers please the Lord constantly, that is their Christian walk (Ephesians 4:1; 1 Thessalonians 2:12; 4:1).  When they produce fruit consistently, that is their Christian work.  When they progress in knowledge continually, that is their Christian wisdom. 

When they persevere in stress cheerfully, that is their Christian welfare (2 Corinthians 8:2).  When they praise God correctly, that is their Christian worship.  The better a person knows God and His Word, the better he or she knows what is pleasing to Him – a knowledge that becomes second nature, producing confidence by discerning God’s will rather than fear.  This knowledge produces fruitful character, conduct, conversation, and contributions (giving of resources).  It also increases becoming a part of who they are.  They no longer rely solely on experience; they progress in their understanding of God as they progress in their understanding of His Word (2 Peter 3:18).  People who take God’s Word seriously don’t just read it to see what it says; they make it a map for life so they can learn what to do–then they do it.

I like that phrase!  They make it a “map for life.”

The book of Colossians is just one of many of the books of the Bible that answers the age-old questions of “why am I here?” and “what is the meaning of life?”  It also gives us direction regarding “what am I supposed to be doing in this life?”

Colossians 3:1-4 reiterates to “2 Set your (our) mind(s) on things above, not on things on the earth.  3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”

Dr. Jeremiah’s notes:

Christ’s death enables Christians to die to their old life and makes their new life secure (John 10:28, 29; Galatians 2:20).  Through Jesus, God has placed a double lock on the security of their lives –nothing can harm them, for His followers are in Christ and Christ is in God.  A Christian’s true identity and purpose in life are hidden with Christ, so people outside of Christ will not understand the believer’s motivations and goals.

Paul has covered every phase of life:  God’s people have been raised with Christ in the past.  They are hidden with Him in the present, and they will appear with Him in the future.  They may be hidden now, but they will not be hidden forever.  Scripture points to the One who can supply everything their hope expects.  This is every Christian’s destiny with Christ.

Mello Dramatic at the DNC

Nebraska isn’t usually a pin on the map of political hotspots, but that all changed this week with Omaha’s candidates for mayor. Thanks to Heath Mello’s (D) pro-life views, a race that would have been a footnote in the national news has exploded into a front-page headline about the DNC’s hard ideological line on abortion.

After years of squeezing out socially conservative Democrats, the party is struggling to win back seats in the heartland, where voters might lean Left on economic issues, but pro-life, pro-faith roots run deep. New DNC chairman Tom Perez tried to walk that line with an endorsement for Mello, only to face fire from the abortion militants in his own camp. Without pulling the DNC’s support, he sent a chilling message to all Democratic candidates that nothing less than unconditional surrender on life would be tolerated. “Every Democrat, like every American, should support a woman’s right to make her own choices about her body and her health,” Perez said. “That is not negotiable and should not change city by city or state by state… At a time when women’s rights are under assault from the White House, the Republican Congress, and in states across the country,” he added, “we must speak up for this principle as loudly as ever and with one voice.”

Telling pro-lifers to drop dead isn’t exactly the smartest political strategy, Dave Freddoso points out. In his op-ed, “Democrats Unlearn Their Own Election History,” he — like a lot of voters — couldn’t believe his ears. “It is puzzling that the head of a political party, whose job is to win elections, would send such a clearly exclusionary message to officeholders and candidates without whose victory his party would probably remain a minority forever.”

Obviously, Perez seems intent on following Hillary Clinton into some of the most radical terrain on abortion ever broached. From her shameless support of taxpayer-funded abortion to her elevation of groups that illegally sell baby body parts, the former First Lady was determined to make November’s election about an extreme social agenda that’s increasingly out of touch with women. And she paid dearly for it. With Planned Parenthood cheering her on, Clinton rushed to embrace the “abortion-ization” of the Democratic Party without any regard to the political consequences. Which, on November 8, were many.

Ignoring thousands of pro-life Democrats, the DNC’s platform was a case study in over-the-top extremism. For the first time in history, it called for overturning the Hyde and Helms amendments, demanding that federal taxpayers fund abortion-on-demand at home and abroad. (Not only did DNC leaders want abortion to be a routine medical procedure, they wanted Americans to pay for the entire world’s!) That in itself was a crystalizing moment for the country, which could only marvel at the sharp contrasts between the two parties.

Under the GOP platform, Republicans reiterated their support for the walls between taxpayers and the dark world of abortion, calling on Congress to make the Hyde amendment permanent in all walks of government funding — including health care. They also insisted on defending the First Amendment rights of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and organizations when it comes to issues like abortion funding, procedures, drugs, and health insurance. The Democrats supported Planned Parenthood by name. The Republicans, for the first time, called for the defunding it. In every possible way, the parties confirmed what everyone already knew: they are polar opposites.

It’s those growing ideological differences that set the stage for inner-party squabbles like Mello’s. If anyone needed proof that the mushy middle is shrinking, it’s the drama playing out in Omaha. Hopefully, the GOP will learn from Nebraska (and from last November) that being a social squish doesn’t work. Donald Trump won the election by appealing to his base, not bowing to moderates. In a political arena with fewer gray areas, what wins elections is taking a strong stance — which, in the GOP’s case, also happens to be the popular one.

While the DNC continues to shamelessly promote abortion right up to the moment of birth, polling shows that it’s a far cry from voters’ position on the issue. Almost eight in 10 Americans (78 percent) would limit abortion to the first trimester — including 62 percent who call themselves “pro-choice.” Voters let the DNC know what it thought about its extreme social agenda last November. I hope the GOP was listening!

Received the above article in my email. I thought that it showed how so entrenched in death – especially death for unborn babies – the Democratic party leaders and their followers truly are!

I shake my head in disbelief that someone so rabid as Tom Perez would be chosen as DNC chair. His predecessors were bad enough, but this guy appears to be possessed by the enemy of our souls.

In John 10:10, Jesus describes the enemy of our souls as a “thief.”

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

What could be worse than killing and destroying a helpless human being in the womb?

In David Guzik’s commentary, he writes:

c. All who ever came before Me [meaning, before Jesus] are thieves and robbers: Thief implies deception and trickery; robber implies violence and destruction. These take away life but Jesus gives life and He gives it abundantly.

Democratic “leaders” such as Perez fit the description of thief and robber.  He is directly involved in deception, trickery, violence and destruction!

Those who would agree with and follow such an evil person are complicit for their own individual sins.

Many women abandoned HilLIARy in the 2016 election.  There were probably many reasons, but I’m sure that the pro-life voters realized how extreme she is regarding death-to-babies in the womb.

I previously wrote in October, 2016:

Hillary’s views are very vile!  One huge example (and there are many!) causes me to be a NEVER HILLARY voter!  Her belief shared last night [October 20, 2016] that partial birth abortion is necessary to “save the life of the mother” is not only murderous, horrid and despicable, but is totally evil and deceitful!  If the baby is killed at the back of the neck in the womb when the rest of the baby’s body is out, THAT’S INFANTICIDE!

When she used the term “mother,” it showed the egregiously evil and total hypocrisy of her beliefs!  If that baby is being killed while partially in the birth canal, then the women ends up being the “mother???” of a dead baby!!!

The pro-life view makes moral sense.  Choose LIFE – YOUR MOTHER DID!
