An Extraordinary Journey (2018)

“I never wanted to be a preacher.  I’d rather be anything but being a clergyman.” – Billy Graham

“The fruit of the Spirit is love!”

God was calling me.  And I knew that, so I got on my knees and I said, “Lord, I will go where You want me to go… and I will be what You want me to be.” – Billy Graham

“Who is this unique Person who comes across the pages of history?” – Billy Graham (about Jesus Christ).

“You always knew that it was about the message and not about the man.” – Mr. Gibson

He had a burden to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as he could. –

“This is the way, and the truth, and the life.”

“Jesus said, “Follow Me.  Come and change the world with Me.”

My husband and I watched this movie two nights ago.  It was better than I even expected!  I cried…a lot!  Have some tissues handy.

You get a glimpse of how Billy Graham preached throughout many decades in history.  There was no one else like him, and will never be another like him.  His unique way to share the gospel was actually in its simplicity.  We are told in Scripture that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is easy enough to be understood by a child.  But as Billy tells us in the movie, the journey will not always be easy.  However, it is always worth it!

I learned many things that I didn’t know before about Graham’s extraordinary journey.  I highly recommend this film to everyone!

It is amazing to see what a good influence he was in sharing the Gospel all around the world by physically going there before the age of computers and holding huge revivals. Rev. Graham showed the need for sinners (including him!) to repents of their sins. He showed the love of Jesus by traveling to many countries; even ones hostile to his message of the Cross. He comforted people who had suffered tragically and lost loved ones. His message always pointed towards Jesus.
Well done, good & faithful servant!
