The False Message of These Islamic Billboards

The first Islamic fable billboard of lies, distortion and deceit:

I have not seen any of these billboards (yet!) where I live.  But according to Jack Van Impe and his message, Who Is Jesus? we learn that these types of billboards appear in 134 places here in the United States!

What is truly ironic is that they also have a deceitful billboard up that says the following Islamic distortion:.

Oh yes!  You may find the name of Jesus written in the Quran. However, upon further examination we learn that Muslims do NOT believe that Jesus is the Son of God!  They also say that Muhammad is a “greater prophet” than Jesus.  It says so in their Quran!  What does that tell us?

It tells us that they don’t believe in the true Jesus Christ of the Bible!

Dear readers!  This billboard campaign is just another example of the Muslim Brotherhood’s 1991 declaration of civilization jihad!

Mat 3:17

And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Mat 17:5

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

Mar 1:11

Then a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

2Pe 1:17

For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

What are we to do about Jesus Christ, the Son of God?

Mat 17:5b “…Hear Him!”

Muhammad’s bones are still in the grave.  Jesus Christ is risen…just as He said he would be!

Mat 28:6

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Mat 28:7

“And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”

Mar 16:6

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

And He will return to judge the living and the dead!

2Ti 4:1

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at [fn] His appearing and His kingdom:

2Ti 4:2

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

2Ti 4:3

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;

2Ti 4:4

and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

2Ti 4:5

But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Be sure to watch that video at the link above!  As Christian believers, we need to be armed with the truth in order to combat the lies, distortions and deceit that the Islamists are trying to “sell” to an ignorant public!

I don’t suppose he named any specific cities, did he? For all we know, they could all be in the same state.

Gee, the last time I looked, the Torah doesn’t mention Jesus Christ at all! On further examination, we learn that Jews believe that Jesus was A son of God, but not THE son of God. (Jesus himself never said he was God’s only son.) Furthermore, they say he was only a prophet; he certainly was not the “anointed one” they’d been told to expect. What does that tell us? That Jews also don’t believe in the true Jesus Christ of the Bible. But I don’t see you getting your knickers in a twist over their unbelief.

What are we to do about Jesus Christ, the Son of God?
Join him! If you want to believe as he did, you should become a Jew. Then you can spend your time reflecting on your cultural history and praying for the Messiah who is yet to come. That might be difficult, though; unlike Christians and Muslims, Jews don’t troll for new members. They’re secure in their identity.

Muhammad’s bones are still in the grave. Jesus Christ is risen…just as He said he would be!
Moses’ bones are still in the grave too (wherever that may be), but I don’t see you mocking Jews about it.

Yeah, their god is all made up! Not your god, though. YOU got the right one, and his word has never been spread by lies, distortions, and deceit—only through righteous words and actions. Yep.
If you got something to sell, you advertise it on a billboard, right? No big whoop, as you say. But as always, I can’t tell whether God is supposed to be the sponsor or the product.

You are missing the point that the religion of Islam is trying to claim that they believe in the same Jesus as Christians when they clearly don’t. They place him in an inferior position to Muhammad.

The Jews aren’t at issue in this conversation. However, you did forget that there are Messianic Jews who do believe in Jesus (Yeshua) as Lord and Savior and their promised Messiah.
There are “Christians” out there who also are guilty of distorting the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself and his disciples warned us in Scripture about those who would do this. It is why we must know God’s Word through study of the Bible so that we can recognize such errors that lead to heresy and apostasy.

And the Jews don’t do the same with Abraham?
All three religions—Judaism, Christianity, Islam—claim Abraham as their founder. But each one has a different spin on the tales they tell. You’re spreading fear and distrust of Muslims the same way other Christians used to (and sometimes still do) about Jews. You all really do worship the same god. He just presents a different ‘face’ to those who follow him; a face molded by different circumstances, different histories, and different methods of telling him he’s the best God that ever was. Or do you propose to sit there and tell me that a Presbyterian is just like a Quaker?

The Jews aren’t at issue in this conversation. However, you did forget that there are Messianic Jews who do believe in Jesus (Yeshua) as Lord and Savior and their promised Messiah.
The Jews are not at issue here only because you’re not spreading fear and lies about them. The so-called Messianic Jews are a minority group in a minority religion; you know they’re not mainstream Judaism, any more than the Salvation Army is mainstream Methodism, let alone mainstream Christianity. There are also ones such as yourself, Christians who embrace the names and titles of Jewish rites; but you worship God through Jesus, while Jews address God without need for a divine intermediary.

I recall that, in the best Hebraic tradition, believers are also to take such people aside and show them the error of their teachings (Matt 18:15~17, right?).
Yet when you were ranting about Rick Warren preaching what you called “Chrislam” a couple of years back, I tried to remind you of this, and all you gave me were a dozen reasons (none of them good) why you wouldn’t– or couldn’t–do that.
Why bother to have a religion if you’re not going to follow its moral code in the absolute?

    Happy Darwin Day.

There is more than just what you listed. The Qur’an, itself, says that Allah and Yahweh are NOT the same.

Also, the Qur’an says that it’s Jesus (Isa) is NOT the same as the historical Jesus.

Finally, the Qur’an tells Muslims to read AND ACCEPT the Bible as “guidance and light.” This passage in the Qur’an was never abrogated, so it still stands.

The Qur’an is a house divided, which is just one of the many ways we know it is not the True Word of the One Living God.

Maybe you aren’t addressing me, B3A, and if so I’ll apologize and be quiet.
But could you provide us book, chapter and verse on that? It appears to be the only evidence our hostess insists upon, or will acknowledge. And yes, I’d like to know it, too.
