Three Topics Today

During these tumultuous times, rarely does a day go by where a blogger like myself can’t find several (if not dozens!) of important topics to cover.

Today, I will share three topics.

First, is the importance of maintaining the biblical definition of marriage and why it matters concerning religious liberty here in the United States of America.

Second, I will mention two blog posts that reveal some things you may not hear about on the MSM regarding the Freddie Gray/Baltimore riots debacle and may even destroy the narrative that is causing the riots.

First topic.

The Supreme Court hearings on homosexual “marriage” is a serious one. That has been covered by several bloggers listed below.

Kingjester’s blog: Faith-Based Institutions Will Be Affected By Possible Favorable Gay Marriage Ruling

Today’s American Liberals, from Barack Hussein Obama on down to the Internet Troll, sitting at his computer in his Mom’s Basement, munching Cheetos, want Christians, like myself, to “change” our view on homosexuality, in order to proclaim Adam and Steve as husband and…err…husband.

What they do not understand, nor wish to, is the fact that man did not label it as deviant behavior and a “sin”.

His Word, as revealed in the Old and New Testaments, with the Holy Bible, states that fact, over and over again.

Christianity is not something that can be boxed in, from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon on Sundays, as the President and the rest of the Gay Mafia seem to want it to be.

Nor can it be changed and modified to fit a culture which is currently embracing relative morality and situational ethics.

God’s Word, as is its Author, is eternal and unchanging.

The Supreme Court Justices must understand that, by undermining the Faith of Our Fathers, they are undermining the Solid Rock from which sprang forth the principles upon which our country was founded.

The future of America is in their hands.

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness – these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. … And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion.” – President George Washington’s First Inaugural Address,  April 30, 1789

Until He Comes,

Albert Mohler: “It is Going to Be an Issue” — Supreme Court Argument on Same-Sex Marriage Puts Religious Liberty in the Crosshairs.

Back in 2005, long before the movement to legalize same-sex marriage had gained cultural momentum, the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty held a forum on the question of gay marriage and religious freedom. The forum included major legal theorists on both sides of the marriage issue. What united most of the legal experts was the consensus that same-sex marriage would present a clear and present danger to the rights of those who would oppose gay marriage on religious grounds.

Marc D. Stern, then representing the American Jewish Congress, put the matter directly:

“The legalization of same-sex marriage would represent the triumph of an egalitarian-based ethic over a faith-based one, and not just legally. The remaining question is whether champions of tolerance are prepared to tolerate proponents of a different ethical vision. I think the answer will be no.”

That was a prophetic statement, as we can now see. Stern continued:

“Within certain defined areas, opponents of gay rights will be unaffected by an embrace of same-sex marriage. But in others, the impact will be substantial. I am not optimistic that, under current law, much can be done to ameliorate the impact on religious dissenters.”

Keep that in mind as you consider the oral arguments in Obergefell v. Hodges, the same-sex marriage case that sets the stage for the legalization of same-sex marriage in all fifty states — and sets the stage for what may well be, in the United States, the greatest threat to religious liberty of our lifetime.

Read the rest Here.

At one of my former blogs [Protect Biblical Marriage*] I wrote about the dangers of the radical homosexual agenda going too far and how the true aim of such activists is two fold. First, to destroy biblical beliefs on sexual morality and secondly, destroy the 2,000 year old definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

Second topic.

Next, we have the Freddie Gray/Baltimore riots debacle.   Fox News has reported that another person arrested with Gray claims that Gray was “banging his head against the walls” of the police van.

The following bloggers are sharing important information:

I could list dozens more topics and articles; including the latest Clinton Foundation illegal schemes and scams.   But, because I am sick of hearing about Hillary – who would be 0bama 2.0 if  (God forbid!) she was elected in 2016 – and because I don’t want to get into all of the criminality surrounding the Clintons (would take days!), I have decided to leave all of that to other bloggers.
Third topic.
Lastly, today I wanted to draw readers attention to an Israeli news service called “Israel Now News.”  The show is on the Daystar Network, and is a weekly broadcast, in English, of news from the nation of Israel’s perspective.
Israel Now News is a creative and innovative weekly TV news magazine presenting a unique perspective of Israel’s current events, politics, and culture to an English speaking audience. Israel Now News consists of a dynamic format offering its viewers an exciting educational experience unparalleled by any other news source.
After doing a search (hoping that I might be able to link to a particular segment)  I discovered that about 175 episodes are on YouTube.  The April 14, 2015 broadcast was particularly interesting, not only because of the excellent news coverage (and proper criticism of the bad Iran deal)  but also for one instance of comic relief (surprisingly included on this mostly serious broadcast) that was found regarding a segment that included 0bama.

If the video doesn’t work here, go to YouTube: Israel Now News – Episode 177

[The segment that I am referring to within the broadcast starts at about 3:39.]

Although the topic in the segment is a very serious one (regarding “Russia threatening Israel after selling arms to Iran”) the portion where 0bama comes into the picture…well…you will just have to see the segment for yourself!

~  Christine

P.S.  Showed the segment to my husband yesterday and he had a great comment about it.  Will share that later.

Hat tips to all links.

I’ll only deal with one topic here.

Why do Kingjester and others like him obsess over “Adam and Steve”? Perhaps they simply can’t see that “Madam and Eve” also exist, and they don’t want to acknowledge either party. Perhaps they simply can’t see women at all, except as incubators.
The motive behind such writing is quite simple: if you can forbid gays to marry (or to be recognized by the church), they may continue to be regarded as the filthy, hedonistic sinners you ‘know’ them to be.

Marriage has long been considered a right, so denying it to certain people is a defense of that right. Is that correct? There are people on death row who have been allowed to marry, but otherwise-law-abiding gays have been forbidden to do it, because in the eyes of some people, they’re more unworthy of life than any murderer. But god’s idea of marriage is surprisingly flexible.

If you’re so concerned about the sanctity of marriage, you should make it harder for people to marry, as a show of commitment; you should make adultery a capital crime (although god’s law is carefully non-specific about that), and you should make divorce illegal. That last worked for centuries in Italy and Ireland!
But I never hear Christers (not in this country, anyway) ever suggesting those.

Kingjester: Christianity is not something that can be boxed in, from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon on Sundays, as the President and the rest of the Gay Mafia seem to want it to be.
True, but many Christers don’t seem interested in enlarging that box. Indeed, they seem to want to make sure that they don’t have to increase their hours beyond Sunday mornings.

Nor can it be changed and modified to fit a culture which is currently embracing relative morality and situational ethics.
Oh yes it can, otherwise we’d still have slavery in this country. God never forbade that, but I don’t think it has many supporters now!

God’s Word, as is its Author, is eternal and unchanging.
And he made it clear what believers are supposed to do to ‘abominations’, didn’t he? He didn’t say his followers were to forgive them, or preach to them, or to convert them to The Way, or even to exile them. He said his followers were to kill them. But except for people like this guy, none of god’s champions seem eager to do that. It can’t be because they fear scorn or ridicule, can it? It can’t be because murder is against the law, because such believers would claim they would be acting according to a “higher law” (who also frowns on murder, or so I’m told).
So this failure of believers to slaughter gays is just as bad as allowing them to marry. Both flaunt the deity’s authority, and both are deserving of punishment. Sounds like a no-win deal to me.

    Ah…one more question. What’s a bl00ger?

You have many questions for Kingjester – why don’t you go ask him?

    I meant to write bl0gger.

  3. GMpilot Says:

Awww, and here I thought you had the mind of Christ, and could answer.
Perhaps kingjester is similarly equipped. I shall follow your suggestion.

    • christinewjc Says:

Oh boo-hoo GM. Your questions never change on this issue and over 10 years time, they have been asked (and statements given) and answered (via me sharing God’s Word) many times. Perhaps you need someone else to argue with?

  4. GMpilot Says:

I assumed that’s why you wanted me to pester the ‘jester, Christine.

Yes, you claim to have answered this question frequently. You’ve told me that Jesus somehow rescinded the death order. But when I ask you “book, chapter and verse” where this actually happens, you go silent. If “god’s word stands forever”, then it did not happen at all, and those commands are simply man-made rules meant to keep order among the tribes of Israel.
That graphic involving marriage is yet another example. The god seemed to think one man/several women was just as good a union as the ‘normal’ kind: he certainly never said anything against it! Nor did Jesus—indeed, he said he was there to fulfill the laws, not overturn them! So, by those texts, that command still stands–and you’re not obeying it.

It seems that Christers are equally outraged at seeing their beliefs denied, and by seeing them practiced.

You all emphasize the one man/one woman rule as being divinely ordained, and will fight against gay unions to the bitter end. Yet by those same standards, the execution of gays is also divinely ordained, and you should be pushing for that just as strongly as that asshole in Georgia is. But you’re not. I suspect it’s because you empathize with gays—at least enough to know something about how they feel.
I suspect you actually know something about compassion, even though you try to smother it IRT certain groups of people.
I suspect you’re actually more moral than your god is. I’m probably wrong, but I suspect it.

    • christinewjc Says:

Like I have written before (to you, in the past) not everything recorded in the Bible (especially sinful acts and deeds) represents approval by God. The Bible records evil and sinful behavior and where one will end up if they are never confessed at the cross of Christ. God’s Word expresses what one needs to do in order to be saved from both evil and sin.

You so misunderstand Christianity, GM. I guess that you continue to choose to ignore the salvation offered through mercy and grace due to your insistence on keeping that “veil over one’s eyes” that is mentioned in Scripture.

We all die physically. That is the curse put upon man due to the Fall in Genesis. Scripture informs us that the Gospel of Christ is veiled to those who are perishing. But we preach it to those around us in the hope that they will one day see the truth. We also know that the preaching of the Cross of Christ is an offense to those who reject it, and it is foolishness to them as well. For believers, it is the gift of God that surpasses all understanding for the salvation of those who die physically, but will spiritually live eternally with God in Christ.

Jesus told us that only God is good. He asked, “why do you call me good” in Scripture in order to see what those who labeled him as “good teacher” meant (or more precisely, understood) regarding who he is.

It is impossible for a sinner in need of the Savior to be “more moral than ‘your’ [my] God is.” All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. When Christians stand before God at the Judgment Seat of Christ, we know that we are covered by His shed blood at the cross. Without shed blood, there is no remission of sin.

      Lev 17:11

‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’

The OT sacrifice of animals had to be done over and over again – as a cover for the people’s sins. Christ’s atonement was “once for all” and those who accept Him as Savior have forever remission of their sins.

The thing about homosexuality and homosexual “marriage” is that condoning (in this instance, giving tacit approval to it) such sins and not repenting of them puts each individual soul in danger. One cannot be saved when one refuses to face the truth about one’s sinful condition – regardless of which kind of sin one wants to hold onto and call “good or wholesome.” In reality, God labels it as sin and an abomination against His created order.

This is ultimately why the homosexual “legal” (meaning earthly legal) agenda cannot coexist with Judeo-Christian ethics and morality. One or the other will be caused to falter, depending on the upcoming Supreme Court decision. However, the U.S. Constitution lists religious liberty, free speech, and freedom of association – not “special rights” that homosexuals are demanding.

I know…I’m wasting my time trying to explain all of this to you because you are steadfast in your beliefs as a pro-homosexual agenda supporter.

      So be it.

Bible based Christians (especially those who read and study prophecy) are not surprised at what is happening. Jesus told us that the closer we get to the end times, it will be as “in the Days of Noah and the Days of Lot.” That is what is happening today – at an exponentially faster rate than ever before in history.
