Paris Under Seige

Second Update at 8:57 a.m. PT: Fox News is now reporting that 4 of the hostages may have been killed. Ambulances have been heard coming up to the location of the building where the hostages were being held and threatened by the terrorists. Video and/or photos of hostages being carried and/or walking away from the building. Six hostages reported freed. Four hostages reported killed. The three male terrorists were killed.

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE! FOX NEWS has just reported that the two terrorists brothers are dead and the hostages are alive and have been released!

This morning, I had planned to write about NewsWEAK’s (Note: not a misspelling of the name of the rag because the author’s writing was very weak regarding the truth!) lies about Christianity and the Bible. Such lies were handily refuted by Daniel B. Wallace in his excellent piece entitled Predictable Christmas fare: Newsweek’s Tirade against the Bible.

Instead of sharing thoughts about that right now, I felt that the ongoing Islamic terrorist attack and continuing siege of hostages in Paris needs our attention today.

Several blogs have excellent reports on what has been happening over the past few days, and I have listed them below.  Reading them all will catch you “up to speed” regarding the terrorist attack and killings at a satirical newspaper office in Paris; as well as the current, ongoing hostage siege happening right now.

One of the most amazing interviews was between Sean Hannity of Fox News Channel with the radical Imam Anjem Choudary. The next day, Sean spoke with Democrat Bob Beckel about that interview, and amazingly, they agreed about how awful and dangerous people like this radical Islamic Imam is and how and why such dangerous ideology is spreading and recruiting disenchanted, angry, and vulnerable-to-radicalism young people into this horrible form of evil raising its ugly head throughout the world. Heck – even far leftist and atheist Bill Maher agrees with Hannity on this issue!

“Living under Sharia” is the goal of Imams like Choudary, and millions of radicalized Muslims throughout the world who have taken advantage (unfortunately) of the soft-on-immigration socialist countries in Europe [i.e. France, Britain (who has learned its lesson and is now pulling back on unfettered Muslim immigration), Sweden, and other E.U. countries] have given in to the fight against Muslim Sharia law and have areas in their countries that have been subjected to “no-go” zones. Think it won’t happen here? It already has!

The Clarion Project: Dearborn No-Go Zone: Where Islam Rules and Christians Are Stoned Notice the date on that article? It was written back in 2012! Have you heard much about this on the media of mass deception?

Truth Uncensored: There Are Muslim No-Go Zones in the USA.

This is different … these people are threat to all around them as is evidenced all over the world. They need to stay in their country where their religious laws are commonplace and accepted; there is no place for them in the USA.

A friend sent me a very chilling propagandist essay written by an obviously radical Islamist (who supposedly is a “former” Islamist) . I didn’t even want to post it here, but you can go to the website entitled Stop Islamization of the World to read it.

Perhaps you haven’t heard how that turned out.

I suppose you can tell us where it ‘already has’ happened here. You have the information. Dearborn does not fit the bill; it has not seceded from the state, nor is it reported by anyone that parts of the city are closed to non-Muslims. Where are the rest?
San Diego, perhaps? You already have a Little Italy there, so there might be room for a Little Iraq. Your Muslims might blend in better in Barrio Logan, except Latino women don’t often wear burqas…and just how different is a parochial school from a madrassa, really?

Did you not read the link provided in my original post the tells of the first no-go zone in Dearborn? It was written back in June, 2014.

It may not be “sharia law” exclusive, but people generally decide not to “go there” because of possible persecution.

People can be in denial, but a video of an encounter by Christian Action Network shows that there are enclaves that threatened them, ordered them to leave immediately, and even hit the car with something as they drove away.

What happens when Muslims are given “exclusive” areas where they can practice their “religion”? It may take years, but the radical Islamist “gangs” eventually take over the areas through no-go zones, like what has happened in Sweden

”Did you not read the link provided in my original post the tells of the first no-go zone in Dearborn? It was written back in June, 2014. ”
As stated above, Dearborn does not qualify; US laws still apply, and the police and other citizens go there whenever they wish.
”It may not be “sharia law” exclusive, but people generally decide not to “go there” because of possible persecution.”
What’s more possible is crime as the reason outsiders don’t ‘go there’. Dearborn ain’t exactly Orange County in terms of per capita wealth. And since it’s not sharia-exclusive, that can’t be a valid excuse, now can it?

”What happens when Muslims are given “exclusive” areas where they can practice their “religion”?”
You get what’s called a ghetto. Jews were confined to them for centuries, and I’m sure you are aware of all the tales told about the people who lived in them. They were places where no non-Jew ventured, especially after dark, and as recently as the 1930s they could be found in many European (and sometimes American) cities. In almost every case through history, it was the people outside those areas—the followers of Christ—who entered them to kill, steal and destroy. “Radical” Muslims sometimes do the reverse…but so did the Mafia.

The chief difference is that Muslims have not learned to exist alongside a secular society. Neither their religion nor their culture has prepared them for this, because it can’t.

What’s the proportion of Muslims in Dearborn? Statistically about the same as in Birmingham, UK, I’d bet. I can probably find out, which is more than you or Clarion Project or Steve Emerson has done.

After the horrors of WWII, I had hoped we’d learned something from that. But we haven’t; we’ve just turned our antagonisms to another people, and to their beliefs.

    GM,

Let’s start with what we both can agree on.

    You wrote:

After the horrors of WWII, I had hoped we’d learned something from that. But we haven’t; we’ve just turned our antagonisms to another people, and to their beliefs.

However, I think that you are missing the point of my posts when it comes to sharing the dangers of radical Islam. It isn’t to unnecessarily “turn our antagonisms to another people and to their beliefs.” The situation is – what it is! People need to face that truth about what the (mostly) Sunni brand of Islam believes and what they want to accomplish. All of the terrorist groups with their different names all take the writings of their Koran literally – and if you would read about what is written in their so-called “holy” book, it contains the “kill, steal, and destroy” mantra that you bring up in the past that was hurled upon Jews by Catholicism.

Granted, anti-Semitism can exist amongst any group, including mislead “Christians.” But born-again, Bible believing and Christ following Christians depart from such hatred and heretical thinking about the Jews. We know that the Israelites of the Old Testament were God’s chosen people, through which the Messiah – Yeshuah – would come into the world to save people from their sins. At the same time, true Christians know that Jesus will return one day on the Mount of Olives, thus we believe in spiritual Zionism.

It is today’s “Christian leftists” who rail against Zionism (there are two kinds – one political and one spiritual) because they blame the Jews for all of the problems around the world – especially when it comes to the made-up group known as “Palestinians.” But that’s another topic.

To find out the Koran verses that promote jihad (includes to kill, steal and destroy), please view:

    Jack Van Impe Program #1502 – 1/10/15

Knowing the Word of God and the Son of God, protects us from those who would apostate Christendom – especially Islam – which is busy slaughtering Christians and destroying churches. [GM – I never hear anything from you about this – you choose to ignore the horrible atrocities being committed by radical Islam around the world.]

Also in the above video is that there are some Bible translators who are “appeasing” Muslims by taking the words, “Son of God” out of their “new” Bible translation!

Also see: Now The End Begins: New Bible Versions REMOVE ‘Father’ and ‘Son Of God’ Because It Offends Muslims

Even the liberal leftist Huffington Post wrote about it! [Search that site with this title: Wycliffe Bible Translation Criticized Over Trinity Word Substitution In Muslim Countries. I do not want to link to them.

To find out about the leftist “Christians” who are attempting to change the truth of Biblical Christianity, and how the “Issa” (Islam’s version of Jesus) is NOT the Jesus Christ of the Bible, please view:

    Jack Van Impe: Program #1503 – 1/17/2015

In the above broadcast, we find out how “the purpose driven church” written by Rick Warren has steered many Christians away from the truth of Biblical Christianity. Warren wants to “honor” the Muslims, thus he is creating “Chrislam.” That is apostacy and heresy! It has caused much havoc!

Warren doesn’t teach proper doctrine! And he isn’t the only one – there are many doing that in different ways.

    2Ti 3:16

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

    2Ti 3:17

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

    2Ti 4:2

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

    2Ti 4:3

    For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;

    2Ti 4:4

and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

    Jhn 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

    Jhn 14:7

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

I know that you don’t care about this, but perhaps readers here will need to know about it.

I don’t know if you’ve ever met or spoken with a Muslim, Sunni or not. But I suspect if you asked any three of them what they believe, you’d probably get four different answers, just as you would with any three Christians. I know you’ve never read the Koran; you’ve just heard carefully selected quotes from it (some of which are false, as that “mighty eagle” one you quoted when we invaded Iraq). You seem to believe that there are no “radical” Christians, and no “regular” Muslims.
I have not read the Jewish texts, but the kill-steal-and-destroy directive is mentioned in there, since the Pentateuch comprises part of the Christian “holy” book. In fact, all three Abrahamic religions appear to delight in bloodshed, especially if it’s the other guy’s blood.

”Granted, anti-Semitism can exist amongst any group, including mislead “Christians.” But born-again, Bible believing and Christ following Christians depart from such hatred and heretical thinking about the Jews.”
Martin Luther founded the branch of Christianity you claim membership in. Was he ‘misled’?
Ghettos were created by Europeans, the majority of whom were raised as Christians. So were Dachau and Auschwitz. Who’s responsible for the ‘hatred and heretical thinking’ that built them?

”It is today’s “Christian leftists” who rail against Zionism (there are two kinds – one political and one spiritual) because they blame the Jews for all of the problems around the world – especially when it comes to the made-up group known as ‘Palestinians’.”
The political kind is what concerns us here. Political Islam is what lies behind much of your so-called ‘radical’ activities. Spiritual Islam is the (supposedly) unifying force behind it. Like many other peoples, they seek to recover lost glories but cannot do so politically, except by violence. But since all nations (supposedly) respect religious beliefs, they cloak their atrocities in piety, and people hesitate to call it what it is. That’s another thing all religions teach: as long as you can justify your violence with righteousness, it’s okay.
Opus Dei and the Ku Klux Klan are thoroughly political entities, but their spiritual beliefs and the way they act upon them are what makes them ‘radical’. They, like Hezbollah, Al-Queda, Hamas, and ISIS, are all brothers under the (embroidered) cloth.
The name “Palestine” or some form of it goes back at least 2500 years, and was applied to Jews in that region, and not just them alone: it’s hardly a ‘made-up group’.
‘Spiritual Zionist’ indeed! If you truly believed as the Jews believe, you’d be one. You’re not, so stop pretending.

Everything including and after Jack Van Impe is where any agreement between us stops. As I have reason to remember, he was the man who declared that certain US highway signs are code-marked in order to allow the forces of the New World Order to deploy more quickly in order to take over the USA. Among other claims.
    Oh, and this, too:

“Van Impe once called fellow televangelist Pat Robertson an “Osami [sic] bin Laden” for calling for the assassination of Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez. He has also accused Rick Warren and others of blending Christianity with Islam, thus making… Chrislam. Van Impe severed his relationship with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) over their reluctance to rebroadcast this insight. Naturally, Warren denied it all. Interfaith is somehow connected with demonic influences and the New World Order.
After severing ties with TBN, his show now appears on rival religious broadcaster Daystar Television.”

Ah, now I know where you got this “Chrislam” BS from! Van Impe is entitled to the treatment demanded by Deuteronomy 18:22. His track record is lousy.
No matter how many bible quotes you throw at me, it won’t work. When you realize that book means as much to me as the Koran does to you, then you’ll start to understand. I’m an equal-opportunity scoffer.

Yes, I have met a Muslim. Years ago a Muslim man was changing the filter to our Culligan water reverse osmosis system (don’t have it anymore) under our kitchen sink, and he started up a conversation with me. I think he noticed the “fruit of the Spirit” list on my door, so he decided to discuss just who Jesus is with me. He stated that Jesus was a “good prophet,” but not as important as Muhammad. He also claimed that Jesus didn’t die on the cross – it was Judas.

I didn’t know much about the Koran back then, but I do now. Hearing about and seeing verses (surahs) that speak of jihad and cutting the necks of non-Muslims do not need any more interpretation. They are downright evil and self explanatory.

I don’t have a lot of time right now to address everything you wrote, but the name of Palestine was given to the now-named Israel. There were no such people known as the “Palestinians” of today. That was just a ruse set up by the PLO in order to demand a “homeland” for the Arab people who wanted to take away Israeli land from the Jews.

Martin Luther corrected a lot of the Roman Catholic traditions (masquerading as “doctrine”) because they were not biblically sound nor biblically based. When he nailed the 95 theses to the church door, of course the Catholics would label him a heretic. But history and Scripture prove who was correct regarding true doctrine – and it wasn’t the Catholics!

Since you dislike Jack van Impe and his ministry, I’m sure that you didn’t watch the two videos that I recommended. This is why you don’t learn anything new. Your prejudice against the man prevents you from hearing, seeing, and reading the newspaper headlines, the actions being taken by those who are either in heresy or heading there (like Rick Warren), and the verses (Surahs) in the Koran that tell its followers to commit atrocities against non-believers in the name of jihad.

Mr. Van Impe isn’t the only one warning about “Chrislam.” Do a search and see over 35,000 link results about this false doctrine that is infiltrating the minds of the unsuspecting because they don’t know the true Word of God.

I almost laughed when you “defended” Pat Robertson against Van Impe!

I have known for over 10 years that there is nothing that I could write about here that would change your mind about Christ, nor your obvious hatred for the God of the Bible. I write what I do at this blog for those who may be seeking Him. Christians are called to “give an answer” to those who are seeking. You have made it perfectly clear that you aren’t seeking; therefore, the seed being planted here never takes root in your heart. So be it…

    1Co 1:18

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

    1Co 1:19

    For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” [fn]

    1Co 1:20

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

    1Co 1:21

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

According to the article I linked to (and which you apparently haven’t read), the term “Palestinian” was used by the British after WWI, when they controlled the region. There was no PLO in 1920.

I don’t give Van Impe any more credence than I do Rick Warren or Joseph Smith—or Pat Robertson, for that matter. That’s for you believers to straighten out, and as you know, I’m not a believer. Heresy is something only the purists can fight about.

I’m aware of why you write what you write. But whenever you tackle non-theological issues, you see “through a glass darkly” just as described by Paul. You’re even more incapable of seeing another point of view than I am, because you’re told that anything contrary to what you’ve been taught is false. I can see many points of view. Even my own point of view isn’t as important as God’s Word; for it is the only absolute truth that discerns what is true vs.what is false.

The point is that “Palestinians” are not a ‘made-up group’, despite what you said. They go back a very, very long way. The PLO are extremely political (and murderous) Palestinians, but they are not new, nor are they made up.

Yeah, just as I didn’t read The Purpose-Driven Life. Since you now regret ever having read it yourself, how can I trust your judgment now, especially since my ‘immortal soul’ is concerned? I’ve seen Van Impe before; he was very popular in the community where I was stationed in the ’70s. He didn’t convince me then, and I doubt he’s changed his message much in 35 years.
